NO pillow top

Through trial and error, after buying a $$$ Sterns&Foster pillowtop that developed indentations after a week (and I needed something for my back problems) I did some research and decided to follow the advice I'd read. I exchanged the pillowtop for a Kingsdown extra firm mattress, then softened it with a mattress topper. It's been seven years. The mattress has no sagging or divots. I do have to sometimes rearrange the topper and have bought a few different ones, working with them until I found the right configuration. I"ve been very happy with this and just can just advise everyone to never buy a pillow top. No matter how much the mattress costs, the topping is the cheapest foam that will compress nearly immediately.
Date Purchased: April 2010
Price Paid: $1200
Recommend: Yes

Pros:

No sagging in the firm mattress.

Cons:

It's too firm to sleep on without a topper, but the best solution I've found.

Bought a Queen size from Sleep Country based on their recommendation. Within 6 weeks there were body indents on both sides. My wife at 115 lbs and myself at 200 lbs. We get a satisfactory replacement and they recommend a King size so we pay an extra $600+. Within 30 days we have the indents again. We turned it every two weeks. Only get one exchange so we are out well over $2000, a crappy product and a hole to roll into every night. Worst sleeps I have ever had in over 60 years. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. There is NO customer service from the Manufacturer. Gave it a one star only because that is the lowest you can give. Zero would be more correct.

Pros:

Really aren't any that are different from any other entry level product. Looks pretty

Cons:

Will not stand the test of time even in the short term. Indents are incurred very quickly.
