I won't repeat what others have said about it being eco-friendly, etc. However, for the first three months I was constantly on the phone and email with Dominick. I received a replacement (for which they made me pay $99 for shipping!). I then exchanged countless photographs of the sagging bed with Dominick. But after a while, it was not worth the effort. It's been over a year, and I have just been waking up every morning with back pain. As the others have said, I weigh 155 and my wife weighs 125. Poor choice for a mattress.

As a chronic insomniac, I didn't think that anything could be done to help me. I heard about Savvy Rest mattresses and thought it was worth a try. It was very assuring to me knowing that these mattresses are organic and that I was not inhaling harmful chemicals every night.

After the first couple of nights getting used to the change, I noticed a VAST improvement in my sleeping habits. I am now able to sleep through the night comfortably, which makes a huge impact on my daily life. Whereas I used to spend half the night on the couch, it is now very difficult for me to get out of bed in the morning.

The staff and service are great - I truly felt that the staff cared about my sleep patterns and habits and worked with me to find the best combination of layers for my needs. The exchange policy is great.

Savvy's pillows are also great and have helped me with some sore neck issues that I used to have.

I would recommend getting fitted for a savvy rest mattress by a professional before you purchase one.

Pros:

Extremely soft and comfortable, yet supportive at the same time. All natural and contains no toxic chemicals. The Staff was great and worked with me to find my ideal comfort level. These mattress are extremely durable - I have had mine for three years now, and I don't plan on getting a new one any time soon.

Cons:

At first I thought it was a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth the value. The ability to sleep through the night is priceless. This mattress will last many more years than a "normal" spring mattress.

The only complaint I have is that it is now difficult to sleep at other people's houses or hotels for more than one night. My body craves the latex.

I had a lame bed from college still, graduated, and wanted to upgrade. Being a fan of the environment, I had heard about latex mattresses and their minimal impact. I checked out the Savvy Sleeper, and the guy Michael was great. Very down to earth salesman.

I sleep amazingly on the latex, and one of my favorite things is how even it is from side to side, and front to back. Very different than all previous mattresses I've had that always tend to sag in the middle.

And, of course, I know that I'm doing the best I can for the environment. i also move quite a lot (have like 5 times in the past 4 years) and i like how it's super easy to move -- just folds right up and i can fit it in my volvo sedan which is sweet.

Pros:

even sleep, super comfy, environmentally friendly, super portable for moving

Cons:

some might say they're a bit expensive, but i really think the little extra is worth it. i sleep WAY better (for real), and it's also a pretty fun conversation piece!
