I absolutely could not be happier with my Savvy bed. It feels great to be supporting a local business (I am a Charlottesville native), and it feels even better to be "sleeping green." The price is well worth it. The bed is amazing, the customer service was super helpful, and I am getting the best sleep I have ever gotten in my life.

I spend almost 1.5 hours trying the dunlop and talalay combinations.
Dunlop was too hard. All combinations were just very uncomfortable. So I tried talalay. Again uncomfortable.
So I tried dunlop with talalay.
Nope. Just uncomfortable.
70 percent of people sleep on side.
I do too. If You fall in that category this savvyrest will not work for you

Very disappointed. I drove 250 miles just to try. Bad poorly thought bed.
Do not recommend.

I purchased a Queen size Serenity in Dunlop with firm, medium, soft layers, unsplit. I purchased this through Amenity Home along with a bed, so I did not deal with Savvy Rest directly.

I had tried SR beds at a local retailer and found that I liked the feel of latex, which is different then memory foam. I tried both Talalay and Dunlop and preferred the firmer Dunlop. The mattress was delivered in three large cardboard boxes. Each latex layer was wrapped in clear plastic, folded in half and rolled up and stuffed into the box. Each box was labelled with the firmness and the one with the cover was also marked.

It was pretty easy to put together by myself. The cover is thick and looks durable and the brass zipper is sturdy. I didn't think the latex was going to fit into the case, but it it all fit snugly and when zipped up it had no creases. It was a good fit.

The latex pieces look good to me. They are clean with no tears. The edges are all square and the three pieces were all the same size. Each piece is labelled with the firmness at top and foot.

After putting together the bed and mattress by myself on the hottest day of the year, my back was complaining. For the first few nights, my back continued to complain a bit. I think it takes a while for us not-young people to adjust to new beds. The sagging water bed certainly had a different sleeping profile. The bed is *very* comfortable. It feels a bit firmer than I remember from the store. I sometimes sleep on my stomach and this bed is PERFECT for that. I was unable to sleep like this on the old bed because my back sagged. I mostly sleep on my side. This bed is firm but it has enough give for shoulder, elbow and hips.

I don't notice any smell from the latex.

The bed is a platform bed with very high quality slats. 11 slats of hard wood with 1.5" between them. It's rock solid platform.

I am very happy with the mattress thus far. I have not had to deal with SR, so I can't comment on the company.

Here's a link to a few pics as I assembled the mattress. I can't seem to get this to display as a clickable link:

I'll update my review in one year since we are all looking for mattresses that will last a long time.
