I bought a Miralux - Luxuriant mattress from Sleepy's from a very crafty salesmen just out to make his commission for the day. I paid $2,000 for "top of the line" Miralux. After 6 months the mattress sags terribly on each side where me & my husband sleep. I complained to Sleepy's & they had their "mattress technician" come measure my mattress. He determined the mattress sagged badly on both sides with a "hill" in the middle. But because it didn't sag more than 1 1/2 inches I was not eligible for a credit to get a new mattress. It was odd because the technician clearly saw the problem even without measuring it is extremely visible. I wish I'd came across this site before my expensive purchase last year. I advise all of you reading this, buy only a known manufacturer & purchase from a major department store where they stand behind their products. A store that says 'well too bad, you picked this style out in the first place, & better luck next time" transfers the blame to the unsuspecting customer, and takes the store off the hook. Like it's the customers fault, with salesmen there working on big commission!! This is an unfair unscrupulous retail practice, particularly with such a high priced ticketed item. This is what you will find at Sleepy's. Don't step into that store - go to Macy's - or Bloomingdale's, or major department stores. Yes you'll pay a little bit more, but they stand behind everything they sell and will correct any mattress problem by either swapping it out or letting you change to a different manufacturer. Miralux, as another reviewer (stupidly) remarked "Miralux is not made by Sleepy's, Sleepy's only sells mattresses". What a ridiculous statement. It's a no brainer that Mattress stores don't make products they sell them, but Sleepy's is selling inferior mattress's from an unknown manufacturer and believe me they know it. Notice Miralux is not sold in major department stores. Miralux looks and feels deceptively pretty, quite like a $7,000 mattress, but the interior is made out of inferior products, otherwise all these customers would not be complaining here. The first 12 weeks is OK, (just long enough before you are not allowed to change mattress at Sleepy's) but after that watch our. It will sag like crazy. This Miralux - Luxuriant replaced a 23 year old "top of the line" Simmons and believe me I got 23 years out of an old Simmons and this Miralux I will have to throw away very soon. I hope this was helpful`

Pros:

What attracted me was the thick & furry out shell of the Euro pillowtop.

Cons:

EVERYTHING - it sags where you sleep within 2 -3 months & will get progressively worse & worse over time. You will need to replace this mattress within a year and a half. The interior materials are cheap & defective.

This is one of the worst mattresses I ever had.
Only after 2 1/2 months, and it's sagging
already. The one I dispose showed way less sagging after 15 years, than the new Miralux after 2 1/2 months. They sure don't build a very good product. I wish I would have seen this site before I bought.

Don't waste your money on Miralux. This miralux rapture mattress felt good in the store, but after actually sleeping on it for a few nights, we wish we had our 7 year old mattress back. This was a big mistake for us and we got talked into it at Slelepy's. The mattress industry plays lots of games & tricks, as there is no real way to compare. My advice is to stay with a name brand and if possible, buy from a reputable department store or furniture store. After my first complaint, when the mattress was only a few days old, Sleepy's told me to wait a few weeks for the mattress to "break in" and of course after the 21 day return is up, they won't take it back. Even if returned within 21 days, they charge $400 and you lose your bargaining position for another one. The price tag in the store was $2600 and we got it for $1000 after being reduced to 1800. It was no bargain and we're going to give it away or throw it in the trash.

Pros:

it felt fine ONLY in the store.

Cons:

Miralux is worse than our old mattress that they carted away!
The only dreams I have now are for a good nights' sleep.
