We bought this bed from a really nice guy in Soho. We shopped at Macy's, Bloomies and ABC then went to Sleepy's. We have our Miralux Bed for about 90 days now and are we ever glad we went to Sleepy's. They had a computer which told us what was best for us(both have lower back issues) and then we fell in love with the Miralux Splendor. They wanted us to buy a bed from the computer, but this one felt as good adn it was half the price. We love it and Sleepy's deliovered it on time and it was a great purchase. Whomever has had a bad time with the Miraluxes is just sour grapes, we love ours and you should give them another chance.

Anyway, hope thi sinformation helps. We are very satisfied.

Pros:

Half the price of the computer bed with more comfort ( we love the fur fabric) and the service we got our bed the next day and when they said it would come. We never had such a good delivery experience with appliances or TV's or antyhing..

Cons:

Those who cannot have something nice to say and are bitter about thier own purchase. Get a life people...

Miralux from Sleepy's is piece of trash

We've lost all confidence in Sleepy's. We tried their 'diagnostic' bed which was supposed to indicate the best mattress for us. Instead of giving us what we asked for, (we wanted something similar to hotel quality like Hilton, Homewood Suites, or Sheraton), we were pushed to the Miralux. What a piece of crap. It's nothing like what we tried in the store. We had someone come out to inspect the mattress and later received a B.S. call that they found nothing wrong. They call it a 'comfort issue'. We are not heavy people and this mattress makes us feel like we're sliding downhill toward the center into the abyss! The mattress had an original price tag of $2599, but they were selling it for 1700. After changing our minds, the salesman on the phone lowered the price to $1000 including tax and delivery. I tell you, this mattress isn't worth even $100. We are out of luck, our backs are aching and will have to kiss our $1000 goodbye and will go to a major, reputable department store to buy a name brand mattress. No more Sleepy's and no more crapy Miralux for us.

Pros:

Nothing. The only good thing was quick delivery. The mattress is going in the trash because Sleepy's says it's a 'comfort issue' which is bogus. It's not the same as what they showed us in the store.

Cons:

It's not worth the money. We'll go to a reliable department store and buy a name brand.

I happened onto this site because I am shopping for a new mattress set for my guest room. I was shocked and surprised by all the negative comments about Miralux.
I have owned a Miralux Napa king pillowtop set for about 4 years now. I purchased my set from a local furniture store that was going out of business. I only paid $644 for the set, which retailed for about $2000. Even then I was skeptical. I had never heard of the Miralux brand. But I must say that my husband and I could not be happier with our purchase. Our mattress is still as comfortable as the day we bought it. It is one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. It is still just firm enough and just soft enough. I am sorry that so many of you have had problems with the brand. But I would say that anyone looking should still give the brand a chance. I am no mattress expert, but having slept on plenty of mattresses in my day, my Miralux takes the cake!
