We initially purchased a Simmons World Class Balthasar (Plush) mattress. From day two my body ached in the a.m. After 17 days, the mattress was returned for a comfort exchange. (cost us an extra $331.00 at Sleepy's) We cautiously chose the Sealy Posturepedic Body Dream Island Manor (Plush) mattress. Bingo! No back pain since the exchange. Be careful about any pillow-top mattress or a real soft mattress. You will experience back pain in the a.m. Feels good when you go to sleep in the evening, but another story when you wake up in the a.m. Those mattress feel good in the store, but the telling story is that you need to spend at least 8 hours lying on it.

I purchased the Queen set from Costco on sale. After sleeping on it for a week, it appears that the comfort layer on my side of the bed has already completely compressed. I can almost feel the springs touching my back, even though this thing has about 3-4" of comfort layer on top! I can also see that the edge support foam will not take long to break down, either. There's already 2 indentations where the back of my legs press down on the edge when I get out of bed! Stay away from this mattress stinker. Thank God Costco is taking it back and giving me a full refund. BTW, I purchased this set on Costco.com and it was delivered right from the Sealy factory. In fact, it was manufactured the week before it was delivered.

I got this mattress for a little over $600 and the initial reviews were ok. As soon as I sat on it I noticed you sink quit a bit. I wasn't sure if that was because of the extra padding or if it was just s oft mattress. After the first nights sleep it's going back. I used to have a matrress I owned for over 10 years that was very sunkin and it had the same feel the first day. I tossed all night and woke up with a back ache. I weigh about 200lb and thought it was just me, but my GF who only weighs about 120 had the same lower back ache. So pass on this pillow of a mattress with no support
