I purchased this mattress on Jan. 1st 2017. it was much more money than I wanted to spend but with a 20 yr warranty and being told that it would last forever we bit the bullet and purchased this mattress. It felt pretty good in the store but they all did. You really can't tell by laying on a mattress for 5 or 10 min in a store. After a week my husband and I started getting bad bad back pain. The warranty says to try it for 30-90 days to give it a solid chance so we tried to stick it out. It was much to firm and we were uncomfortable every night. After 3 weeks we went back to City Mattress where we purchased the mattress and spoke to our sales rep. Shane (who was wonderful) about exchanging the mattress. When we noticed that we could get the motion base instead of the box springs we thought that may help so instead of exchanging the mattress we exchanged the box springs that we purchased for the motion base which would raise the head and feet to our comfort level. Well we tried that for a few more weeks with no help. Still very uncomfortable and in pain everyday. We finally went back to the store again and exchanged the mattress for a totally different one. We get the new mattress today and can't wait to get a good nights sleep.

We bought our Pranasleep mattress and about a year in, we were sleeping in big divots. Both of our backs were killing us. Even with rotating the mattress, it was horrible. Finally gave in thinking the mattress was older than it was. Shocked to find out it was barely three years old. It has huge deep sleep trenches, lumpy and sagging everywhere. City Mattress said they "might" credit us as the (according to the salesman) mattress has a known issue of failing in a short time. Of course, they would only upgrade us. And then they were not going to give us any credit because there is a stain on the mattress. (Warranty is voided if there is ANY stains)
I cannot warn consumers enough to look at reviews and be careful. AND do not use City Mattress...big con artists. We did buy another mattress elsewhere,

This mattress I was told by City Mattress was the rolls royce of mattresses. I needed to get a Dr. note about my back problems to get no tax, they refunded the tax. I have very bad back issues.
Haven't had a good night's sleep since I bought it. Though my back was getting worse but from reading the reviews I am thinking not. Buy a new car not this mattress. And don't trust the sales staff telling you that this is the best there is.
