My husband and I purchased this mattress about 8 years ago and paid around $3, 200! It was great to sleep on for around the first 9mths or so, and then we started getting stuck in the “dip” where you sleep. The mattress is now soft and very uncomfortable, and it has a bump in the middle just like regular mattresses. I toss and turn all night long and it very hard to sleep on. My hip and back hurt when I get up. I am sick that I spent so much money in a mattress that was only good for the first year! We complain about it all the time, but can’t afford to get another mattress right now.
Their sales pitch was that it wouldn’t get the typical dips that you would get with a regular spring mattress because of the 3-4” memory foam on top. If I could do it agin I would not purchase this mattress.

DO NOT BUY a Kingsdown Mattress!!! I purchased a new Kingsdown King size mattress in June 2018. Within months of owning the bed it began to sag and created a hump in the middle. After contacting Kingsdown for the warranty, they sent out a third party inspector who indicated the mattress had a 2” dip on the right side. Kingsdown denied my warranty claim stating it was within normal wear measurements.

Now, if anyone else is considering spending over $1,500 on a mattress, I’m sure you’d like to ensure you have a product that lasts for more than a few months and the warranty is valid. Nice job Kingsdown you lost another customer!!!

Bought the queen size and after approximately two years started to get a body depression in the middle. I am 280 lb so maybe to be expected? Well, by year three was too bad for two people to sleep on it. We contacted Sleep Country warranty claim service, as we bought it at a local Sleep Country Store. They sent us a link to the website and we filed the appropriate pictures and information. 4 days later we got an email authorizing full replacement cost for a mattress of our choice. So while I feel the mattress may not be the best as far as our experience goes the customer service was excellent. The warranty did exactly what it was set up and said to do.

Pros:

Very comfortable, and a nice mattress for the price.

Cons:

It's sad that it seems to be a very common problem with the Kingsdown mattress. That is body depressions after two to three years.
