Totally Satisfied
Sleep Ez 8500

My husband and I are totally satisfied with our Sleep Ez latex mattress (one, two inch layer and two, three inch layers). I purposely waited almost two years before posting a review to see how the mattress would serve us over the long haul. We give it 5 stars! My back pain has disappeared! Here is one important piece of advice to anyone trying a Sleep Ez mattress for the first time: try it for the full 90 days before you consider returning it. It took many, many weeks for our bodies to adjust to a latex mattress. At first I thought we had made a huge mistake, but our bodies just had to re-adjust - for the better! - and that took time. Now we wouldn't sleep on any other type of mattress. An added plus was the personalized, excellent customer service. Our first layered combinations were not quite right, but the folks at Sleep Ez worked with us till we found the perfect combinations.
Date Purchased: June, 2013
Price Paid: $1500 Recommend: Yes Pros:
Available with split layers so each side may have a different degree of firmness.
Layer exchange policy to help find the right combination of layers. Superior support and comfort. Easy to lift up corners to put sheets on. No "new mattress" smell (important if you have allergies!). Excellent and personal customer service. Cons:

Was happy with the mattress for a few weeks then began noticing it sagging and not keep shape properly. After a year the mattress is completely deformed and is sagging badly in the middle. It is THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE mattress I have slept on and my back hurts even worse than before when I get up from this thing. Also, the top layers have begun discoloring a bit showing darker greyish spotting despite regular cleanings. In addition, the foundation they sold us was a literal piece of junk. Got refunded for it but had to pay a junk hauler to take it away. No response from Sleep EZ when I inquired about this. Very disappointed.

Couldn't find this Select Sleep 9000 in the list so I'm placing it here.
This mattress replaced an old queen size in our guest bedroom in advance of family visiting this month. Had heard about latex, began to think we might like it for ourselves after researching it and thought this would be a good test drive to buy for the guest bedroom. We had a chance to sleep on the mattress for 3 nights before our first set of visitors got to town. We thought it was so comfortable we were a little put out that we had to "give it up for company". We've had a revolving door this month and each of our visitors all had great comments about how well they slept on "the mattress". We received patient help from the company in deciding what firmness to order. Delivery was fast. Pretty easy to set up. Helpful if there are two people as the latex has some weight to it and two make it easier to move in place. My homework paid off and we couldn't be more pleased with every step of this purchase and the quality and comfort we received. I recommend this mattress and Sleep EZ.
