Sealy Optimum Destiny back ache

Beautiful mattress, feels good when you lie on it but I have had an aching lower back every day since purchase. I have never experienced back problems before. I weigh just over 100 pounds and feel like I am not sinking in the mattress enough to provide lower back support. I'll have to return it and buy a traditional mattress.

I tried many mattresses, and found the Astral Plush extremely comfortable and bought it on a Colombus Day Sale.

While comparison shopping it slept very comfortable
Many complain about Foam Mattresses offgassing, I did not experience this at all with this product
Many complain about foam sleeping hot, I did not experience this at all with this mattress.

Cons:
While cradling you and providing relief of pressure points (me being a side sleeper) this mattress after only days started giving me pain on the opposite side of my body that was not in contact with the mattress.

Shopping for a mattress is almost impossible, there are no credible review sites, and every manufacturer changes the name of their mattresses constantly so you cannot comparison shop, I hope this review helps someone who is shopping for a mattress. When I purchased this there were no reviews on this particular mattress, I have renamed the Astral Plush, it should be called the Spinal Crush

Sealy Posturepedic Titanium should be sued

I purchased a Sealy Posturepedic high end Titanium coil Firm eurotop CalKing Mattress last May. I avoided the Plush because I was hoping that this would prevent deep body impressions mentioned by some reviewers.
The first thing we noticed besides the horrible smell (which took 3 months to tolerate) was the very uncomfortable high lump across the middle 2/3rds of the bed. We actually started off with our heads and feet going downhill. This was very hard to deal with. The sales person assured us that this was an overfill protection against sagging.
Within only 5 months, the sagging had begun and permanent body impressions had developed. We were already hurting every morning. About 9 months into it we had to spend another $200 on a memory foam topper, hopping we could get one nights good sleep. Now it is so tall we can hardly get in and out.
Plus, the body impression continued to deepen at an alarming rate. The craters make turning over at night a chore and I wake up with my back frozen in pain.
I actually put a pillow in my pit and the topper over it, just to get through the night last night.
By the way, I am 5'9" and 145lbs, by husband is 5'11" and 165lbs. So we are not supper heavy people! This thing is absolute garbage and I just want to cry. I want my 10 year old Serta Pillowtop back that didn't hurt one night for 9 years. Nor did it every get body impressions like this. The mild pain we were getting was far better than this!!! I'm afriad to by anything due to all of the bad reviews out there.
