I have both neck and back problems. The flexibility of the honeycomb gel mean I can sleep on my side without neck and shoulder pain. The innerspring base gives just the right support for my back. I have my mattress on a platform bed with a low profile box spring. I got a good deal on sale.

Latex mattress with gel top was WAY too soft. Pay attention to how much the bed compresses when you sit on the side. If you are half way to the floor or box spring when you sit, you will get big indentations over time when you sleep.
