I'm very happy to report that my IKEA latex mattress is still going strong, and I've recommended it numerous times. I think IKEA's replaced the Erfjord a few times over, but their top of the line Latex still has natural wadding and ticking, and still has a 85-15 blend of natural vs artificial latex.
I know I have a 25 year warranty, and I'm about halfway through that, but heh, it'd be nice to get a new mattress after 12 years.
Minimal sagging after all this time. Mattress still isn't...

Many people here recommend latex and I am one of those.
There is a mattress I am looking at at plushbeds.com called the Botanical Bliss. It is pure latex with cotton and wool and has a 100 day sleep trial. I am not promoting the company nor have I ever ordered from them but I know a lot about latex mattresses and from what I can read on their site it looks like a winner. Flobeds is another recommended company with a great exchange policy to help you get it adjusted best for your firmness.
Those are my recommendations without any specific info from you.
I find memory...

I have the same problem with trying to get enough cushioning for my shoulders while preventing my hips from sinking in too far and giving me lower back pain. Have tried all sorts of configurations of latex toppers -- including cutting them up to try zoning -- on 2 different spring mattresses. No long-term success yet.
I can recommend one thing to *avoid*, and that's 14 ILD Talalay latex. It's useless, except for children or small pets. Any adult will sink right through it. I'm built similar to Tessie, and I wasted a fair amount of money on 2" and then another inch of...

I am considering a new purchase of a Latex Mattress, and since there is no local dealer in Chattanooga that has the expertise to discuss these matters intelligently.I have read an old entry dated 2010 by Phoenix and am just trying to clarify a few points, and to see if there have been any changes in the past three years.
First, I am looking at a budget of $3000 plus or minus. It would not hurt my feelings to come in below, but if someone can talk me into it, I will consider the benefits.
Second, based on what I have been reading in this forum, Astrabeds, Plushbeds, OMI, Flobeds and Dremata are among the most popular with OMI being strong but much more expensive. Is...

We are looking for a mattress using pocket coils in order to isolate movement. We have been using a Simmons Beautyrest (I'm not sure of the exact model, but it was a pillow-topped model and has served us well.). One note -- We're primarily side sleepers. My wife and I occasionally will sleep on our backs, while she, at times, sleeps on her stomach. I weigh about 225 lbs, and that seems to weigh into choice of support material. I have been getting some back issues as I get older, so proper support and a good night's sleep is important.
Gardner offers three varieties of...

I went to three stores but am overwhelmed by the choices. :) The stores focused on Dunlop latex and recommended 6" mattresses, with the suggestion of buying a topper when my son is older. Is this the best option?
Assuming yes, I think I have it narrowed down to three mattress options and would love your assistance picking. My son says every mattress is comfortable (and he tried a lot!). The three options (with prices including tax) are:
1. Sleeptek kids 100% organic natural latex mattress ($979)
2. Obasan Fundy ($1119)
3. Arpico 6" ($631...

1. Set a schedule.
The National Sleep Foundation recommends that you stick to a regular bedtime routine. That means going to sleep and waking up at the same time every day (yes, even weekends!). Try to avoid spending more time in bed than you need. Maintaining good light hygiene will help: Open the blinds or go outside as soon as you wake to get energized, and shut off all the lights (including electronics) when you go to sleep.
2. Eat well to sleep well.
The key to beating insomnia isn’t just in the bedroom—it’s also in your kitchen. Eat balanced meals throughout the day, and make breakfast your biggest. Digesting food requires energy, so if you eat a heavy meal late at night, your body will be hard at work digesting when it should be sleeping. Steer clear of greasy or fatty foods...

If talking about your question. I can give recommendations. so I recently bought it for our bedroom.;
I did my own “research”. And when I studied Simmons Beautyrest mattress, I found some advantages:
Better than average motion isolation
Better than average satisfaction for some models
Comfort and less pain for first 3 years
Better than average warranty
I also added Zinus and LUCID mattresses in my list of comparisons.;
Zinus. What’s special about this mattress is that this is a new kind of memory foam called BioFoam which uses natural plant-based oils to replace some of the petroleum, which helps keep your mattress fresh and is a bit more environmentally friendly. This mattress has a medium firmness and comes...

Here we are discussing the best sleeping positions for back pain & hopefully find some relief.
1. Sleeping on the back with knee support – Sleeping on the back is considered as the best position for a healthy back, as sleeping on the back evenly distributes the weight of the body also minimizes the pressure points and ensures good alignment of the neck, head & spine.
Its recommended to keep a pillow under the knees to provide support.
1. – Lie flat on the back facing ceiling & avoid twisting...

Putting to test lots and lots of sleeping positions, attempting to have a clear mind, in any event, tallying sheep are pointless tips on the most proficient method to fall asleep fast if the individual suffers from sleep disorder, rest apnea or insomnia so it is ideal to decide the causes and afterward begin treating it.
Be that as it may, truly, every body is unique and everyone has their own extraordinary sleep habits. The individual with back torment probably won’t need a...
