The Marriott bed is made by Jamison.  If you live in the southeast, you might find a furniture store that carries Jamison mattresses.  Just go to jamisonbedding.com....

I agree with you--that bed is awesome. All I had to do was ask the manager and he gave me the website address for the bed. It is jamisonbedding.com.

Good Luck....
researching again - ga99

I have posted several times over the last couple of years and found a lot of great advice. However, I found it is hard because you always have to sleep on things first. I read many stories of people who purchased mattress after mattress. Now I understand!!  Starting looking late 2006 and purchased in 2007. Bought a Jamison taladay latex. Both DH and I had problems with the latex. His back hurt and my shoulders hurt. The company let us switch it out for the only other brand they had, serta. So we ended up paying $2000 for a cheap serta. It is o.k. My shoulders do not hurt anymore. But we really want to start looking again. The bed has horrible indentations and I cannot put a pretty duvet on it because of the way it looks.  I think I want a queen instead of a king and want to...
need to cool down at night - ga99

I used this forum last year when we purchased a Jamison latex. We thought we made a good buy but I had tons of shoulder pain (only 28 now) and it was the mattress. We exchanged it for a sealy (the only other brand the store carried). So now we have what I consider a cheap mattress when we originally went to purchase something much nicer. It is one that has a made in topper and is not flippable. After only two weeks you could see impressions. This is something that we expected with this type of mattress. The shoulder pain did go away but now I am so hot that I cannot sleep at night. We cannot afford to keep buying a mattress each year. We are hoping to keep this one for a few more years. Is there something I can put on top to help cool me off. I am...
Need updated Info. on Bragada or Jamison beds, please - Nursegail

First of all, I would like to thank you folks for taking the time to post your reviews.  I find this site to be the most helpful in making an important decision.  I have been "burned" by Stearns and Foster  ( see my review) and need to purchase a new mattress.  I am extremely intersted in the latex beds(Flobeds & Sleepez) described on this site, but I am also looking at the Bragada line and maybe  the Jamison bed as well.  Any recent reviews/ comments would be greatly appreciated.  I am especially interested in hearing from those people who have owned their beds for a year or longer, to see how they have held up....
Re: foundation for latex mattress - pondkoi

We just purchased a Jamison Gemini Talalay Latex mattress,, their top of the line. it will be delived this next week. The salesman who has been selling Jamison for 30+ years said with Latex all you need is a good solid foundation. I had asked about the foundation if it was springs or what. He said it is basically solid wood covered to look nice. All you are concerned with is the mattress. A good quality mattress really does not need anything more than a solid foundation. If you look at most all foundations these days that is all they are. It is your mattress that gives you the support. IF your latex mattress is of good quality, then you should not have to worry about what kind of foundation you have. He said with the mattress we are getting we could put it on the floor and it would...

Thanks for the input. I tried the Equalizer which is now called the Marbella. I thought it gave into the body a little to much for me. I like something a little more firm. To me the Gemini Talalay felt the best with the Fantasy and Memories Zero Gravity both tieing second. I am trying to get my husband to trip it to Lake Charles with me to try all three. They did not have the Comfort of Choice but I am sure that is probably been renamed. I have about decided definitely we are going with Jamison, but deciding which mattress is going to be the big choice. I wanted to hear that after a couple of years the mattress is not giving in to the body.

Thanks again for your input.  Sheri...

Jamison Talalay Latex mattresses - pondkoi

I am going to be buying a new mattress and I know the Jamison makes a great mattress based on comments I have read all over the internet with Marriott using their mattresses. I am looking at 3 of their top of the line mattresses, Fantasy, Memories Zero Gravity and Gemini Talalay. They all felt great when I laid on them for 10 -15 minutes each. I think I really liked the Gemini Talady especially since it is all Talalay latex. I have not seen any comments on any of these 3 mattresses. Does anyone have any experience with them. I know Jamison has been making the Gemini for about 15 years. Our closest dealer in in Lake Charles since there are none in Texas yet. They are looking to expand this way soon. When I compare to the Comforpedic it is about $1400 cheaper and feel just as good...
Re: Anyone tried a Select Comfort or similar air type mattress? - pondkoi

This Thursday they come to pick up my Select Comfort bed that I have had since November. We bought the 9000 model in a king size spending over $5000 for it. In the store it was pretty comfortable. They showed us our pressure points on a screen and how by increasing and decreasing the air they would change. The first night there was an air leak in my air chamber so I ran the tests and called them. They sent another set out and extended my 30 day warranty period to 60 days. I contacted them several different times about the air pressure changing quite a bit. In reading the material I saw where depending on the weather, the air in the chambers can go up or down. Mine went up as much as 15 and down as much as 10 on a given day. When I asked about this...

Hi, Sheri. I haven't posted on this site in years.  Two years ago, I was looking for a good bed and think I read every inch of this site.  I don't know about the Gemini, but I settled on the Jamison Comfort of Choice latex and have been very pleased with it.  I reviewed this bed back then on this site. The bed hasn't sunk or changed in any way since I bought it and it sleeps just great. We later purchased a Jamison Equalizer for our guest room, and everyone comments on how great that bed is as well.  I should point out that there are others who did not like the spongy feeling of the Comfort of Choice latex, and those with back problems apparently had a real time of it with this bed. We love ours and would not hesitate to go with Jamison again....
