So my girlfriend and I have been sleeping on the Sleep Science latex mattress (cal king) for about 5 days now.  The first 2 nights we slept on it we both agreed it was much firmer than either of us were used to or liked.  I went ahead and took the 3in of talalay latex (not sure ILD?) from my old queen bed and put it right on top.  3in of Talalay on this bed makes it basically the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.  It is fantastic.  Now I am just trying to decide what 3in cal king topper I should buy, but since I have no way of knowing the ILD of my queen topper I bought 5 years ago off ebay Im kinda stuck.  Im thinking 3in of the 15ILD Celsion from Sleeplikeabear might be our best choice, but 700 dollars is a steep bet...
I am very confused.. - randys

I am having severe pain radiating from below my lower back to upper back that is a new pain...thought i was allergic to latex but the symptoms are different than what the allergy would be

the pain pretty much goes away under heat pad when i get up so it is clearly related to being in the bed

i have spent so much money and time on beds that i am going crazy - this is on my costco/sleep scienced latex bed, have tried both sides, problem seems not to be related to firmness

also, if you bought from costco and need to return it, just call customer service, they will pick it up for free and give complete refund...costco is awesome

mine has no sag, so either you got a bad one or something wrong with foundation

sleep science foundations for latex and foam are identical, i have had a few and no issues so something is wrong

This foundation isn't supported as well in the middle. I built two twin longs myself (to go under a king). The delivery men had no idea what it even was, so I just felt better building them myself. The boxes were sealed.. I followed all the directions.. and used all the parts, just in case anyone is questioning :)

There are several metal bars running along the edges, but none in the center. On the king, it feels like my wife is on the other side of a hurdle, because the two edges in the middle are higher than the sagging middle areas of the foundation.

Additionally, the foundation is put together with hand screws. This made assembly very easy. However, they don't actually screw into the pieces - they just twist in and press on the male metal pieces. So basically, after a couple of nights,...

In extreme frustration and anxiety caused by a combinations of low back pain, very poor interrupted sleep now this unpleasant experience, my thinking pattern has become muddled, so please bear with me.

  Background:

The SS latex mattress I bought, I slept 1 day on it on top of its soft side. It is somewhat too soft for me.

Also with its foundation resting on my iron rails frame, it is still low and I am 6 feet tall.

I am thinking of returning it all - mattress and crappy foundation.

I still don't know what caused the sag in middle of mattress. My good guess is that it is the metal foundation that did it.

The foundation is metal tubes interconnected. It has big gaps where there is no support. Where the mattress has sagged...

all metal with plastic covers attached on top part with buttons.

The metal foundation is made up of metal tubes/rods with huge empty gaps where there is no support of any kind whatsoever.

If you attach the legs that come with it it will creak in a short time. That has been reported by people here.

Our two Costco Sleep Science beds were delivered on Saturday morning! Here's my review:

First, about the delivery. I found the delivery company to be professional and friendly. They called to schedule the delivery, called again when they were on their way and arrived on time (a little early even). They assembled the foundations on my front lawn and seemed to know what they were doing; they were quick and efficient. They set up the beds in the order I requested and exactly as I instructed. I have absolutely no complaints.

Second, the foundations. They are made of metal tubing, with plastic top panels to support the mattress and then all covered with a cloth cover. They seem very sturdy and since these two beds are for my kids, I have no doubt they will be...

THE metal foundation that comes with this latex mattress is bad.

I CHECKED AND MINE IS NOT MISSING ANY PARTS.

THEY ALL ARE JUST POORLY MADE.

PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT FOUNDATION/BOX SPRINGS WILL WORK GOOD WITH THIS LATEX MATTRESS.

AND FROM WHERE CAN I BUY THEM.

THANKS.
