Best mattress I've ever owned

My wife and I have been hard on innerspring mattresses. I am not small and tended to sleep on the edge of the mattress. Eventually the rigidity of the side of the mattress gives way and there is significant sag. Plus there is always the hill in between both of us especially since most mattresses don't flip any more. After doing some research, my wife found information about solid mattresses and the benefits regarding heavier sleepers.

We visited a savvy store near by and heard the talk about talalay vs Dunlop and tried some different combinations of firmness. We also saw the possibility of a mechanical foundation. Cruising the web, I found a few sites to buy latex bedding online. Sleep Ez was highly regarded and was amongst the cheapest. I got a split king mattress 13" with adjustable bases for a little more than half what savvy was charging.

Customer service was very responsive. They verified everything along the way. We purchased natural latex with a combination of Dunlop and talalay. I liked that Sleep Ez had extra firm as an option. We were able to customize our sides. The only minor comment I have is that adjustable bases took a bit longer than expected to arrive. We were so excited that we put our new mattress on our old box spring until the bases arrived.

We've had the mattress for 5 months now. Both of us have no back pain anymore. It is great for pressure points. There has been no noticeable sag. We like the idea that if there is wear we can swap out a layer or two. Plus we can adjust firmness of our needs change.

The adjustable bases are rock solid and very nice. We don't use the adjustments very frequently. We bought the split kings to have the option of using independently. We tend to join the two splits with a king mattress cover protector. You can adjust the sides to a mild degree this way even with them in a single fitted sheet and cover. We prefer this layout to avoid a crack between the sides. Even with this there is a slight divot. However if we ever change our minds we can have fully independent sides. I am not sure if I would buy the split mattresses again. With experience I might have opted to buy a king cover to avoid the gap. I can always purchase a new casing.

Overall, great quality and a great sleeping experience. Customer service was excellent. Will definitely buy future mattresses from them.

I've slept on an old boxspring my entire life in one form or another. As long as I didn't wake up hurting, that's all I cared about. But passing 30 I figured it was finally time to drop money on a quality mattress and I wasn't afraid to do it given that I'd own it and use it for the next 30 years. I travel a lot for work so I "know" hotel beds. Whenever I find one I like, I always look at the make. To that extent, I was looking very hard at Jamison but being a southern company, shipping and the hassle of a boxspring in moving was too much for my liking and that's when I came across layered latex beds. I move every year or two so the thought of just disassembling the layers and rolling them up had me sold. No more looking at apartments and figuring out how I was going to maneuver a king bed into it.

Not many latex mattress companies out there but SleepEZ by my determination seemed to have the best bang for the buck. I went to their website and plugged my height and weight in and the recommended soft talalay, medium dunlop, firm dunlop, extra firm dunlop for a 5'10, 165b man came up. Whatever, that's what I went with. The mattress came and though soft to the initial feel, the first few nights I woke up with back pain. Determining it was too firm I exchanged the extra firm layer for a soft layer of dunlop to have the setup soft talalay, soft dunlop, medium dunlop, firm dunlop. O yeah, this is the perfect setup! You sink in nice but are supported well. If you're are a curvy woman of average weight, you would be happy.

I got two free pillows and a sheet set. Wasn't expecting much being "free" but was quite surprised that they were high quality products. The sheets are amazing! Can't say enough about the sheets, wow. Mattress shell, also amazing.

Five star company. The only thing I could recommend is maybe at least a sticker on the latex confirming it is organic. I decided to spend the little extra money for the fully organic latex and nothing was labeled expressing that fact. How would I know? If I remember right, one layer had a stamp in the latex itself stating it but the other layers didn't.

Recent GF said my bed is truly heavenly so run with that for what it is worth. I'm no poet of words nor feel the need to right reviews but thought this company was exceptionally easy to deal with and sells a quality product.

I am just writing a review because I wanted to really try the mattresses out for a time.

Not only was the company great to work with, taking the time to make me happy in every way they could...but the mattress is so comfy!! I had many pressure issues and this mattress had given me a good nights sleep again.

I had to get a really soft top because of my issues and it has dropped a little in the middle..but I am sure Sleep ez would replace it but you know...I am still sleeping comfortably and until I am not...I am happy!!

I have tried so many mattresses and with such a huge husband (270lbs), they always drooped very quickly...but he has a regular soft top with a firm underneath and his is still looking great...it has been several years now...and he is still happy....I am still happy...and we both got the soft/firmness we needed.

This mattress is a great idea...with 8 different pieces you can mix and match until it is perfect for you...just a rocket scientist idea!!!

So, I wanted to let everyone know...we are both over 55...and have been thru many mattresses..including the very expensive memory foam temperpetic...and none were we as happy as with the mattress from sleep Ez...buy with confidence!!

ps..I really can't remember the cost or date..it has been awhile...so just guessed...

Pros:

can mix it up to get the perfect firmness for each person...

Cons:

does break down a little over time but not as much as our spring mattresses we use to have and they got hard...if our mattress drops a little in the middle...it is still comfy and carries the same support...plus, they can replace the top one that is dropping instead of loosing the whole mattress and then having to pay for the difference for another new one...
