Bought this mattress before I had surgery a month ago. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days and my back was killing me. I am a retired RN and have terrible orthopedic problems in my neck, back, feet, hands, elbows, knees and feet. I have tried the Nautilus, Sleep Number, Latex and other memory foam mattresses (probably at least 7-8). I could never have a comfortable nights sleep and it usually took me 1-3 hours to go to sleep. My husband has orthopedic problems too (replaced joints, bad back and neck). This is the first mattress we have both been able to sleep on together. I wish I had found this 15 years ago. It relieves the pressure and discomfort I usually felt in my shoulders and hips when I would ly on my side. This mattress only has a 10 year warranty (but the store owner and their two adult children have them and said it would last longer). Even if I only got 5 years out of it, I wouldn't object. Not only that I was able to buy it wholesale for $399 for a double size bed. Each size up was $100 more. That is still a cheap mattress. I was told the mattress sells some places for $1200 and yes I did find it selling for that at one source on line. I did find a number of sites that sold the full size for $489 with free shipping. It is worth every penny. In fact, I am going to tell my orthopedic doctors about it. I know they have many patients with orthopedic pain. Happy dreams!

Pros:

Feels like lying on a cloud. No pressure point pain, but you still get support. This mattress has memory foam and metal coils that are wrapped in foam. You never feel a spring. It has a bamboo cover that is cooler, wicks away body moisture, is hypoallergenic, antifungal, etc. The low price is astounding for something this comfortable. I was able to buy it locally. Was told the company would have no problem with you returning it if there is a problem. You don't have to flip this mattress. It is 14-15" deep and sits on a platform type base. I got both for $399.

Cons:

You might have to order it on line, if the Golden Mattress Company doesn't have a distributor in town. You cannot flip the mattress if you soil one side.
The warranty is only for 10 years (but what good years they will be).
