I had a med. soft mattress and many aches and pains to go with it! I Purchased my Double X a month ago and enjoy a great nights rest and awaken feeling great. I have found that a softer mattress does not always help those of us with back pain. I know longer toss and turn trying to find the right spot thru the nite. If I didn't have to get up, at least once during the night, I would sleep 'til morning with no problems. Before your next mattress try this one first.
