ILD or Pounds for Tempurpedic

Hey all. I'm looking to create my own Tempurpedic-like bed. 

What are the stats on the Tempurpedic (lbs or ILD)?  If I can understand that I can start shopping around.

Memory foam does not behave in a manner that can be rated as ILD because it is "viscoelastic" and gets softer with a load applied over a short time. The base layer foams will be 35-45 ILD.

The standard Tempurpedic memory foam is 5.3 lbs per square foot.

The HD Tempurpedic memory foams is 7 lbs per square foot.

And the base foam is 2.8 lbs per sqaure foot.

Not sure that tempurpedia truly provide the increased quality of sleep that studies claim, I have friends who are a little underwhelmed
