FBM Base core

Does anyone have an opinion on base core for a DIY mattress between FBM LUX or HD36 HQ? I am trying to decide between 5" base HD36 HQ or 3" HD36 HQ and 2" LUX. Have requested twice for samples from FBY but haven't received any. I don't know the firmnest of the 2. Side sleeper around 170lbs. On top of base core, 3" latex 32 ILD and 2" solf latex. Thanks |

| I used 3" of LUX-HQ and then 3" of HD36-HQ on top of that. With MF and latex toppers on top (zoned, see my other postings). |
