they make very good two -sided innersprings with 12.5 gauge offset coils, will custom build and also make high quality latex mattresses - they use high ild latex as a base and softer all natural talalay on top. family run business for 50 years , do no advertising but doing well on repeat business and referrals. great guys to talk with . no commissions, so no push. only place I have found that can sell a 12.5 gauge coil offset innerspring under 500 bucks. hickory springs is still trying to figure out a way to ship me a holland maid coil system, but so far it is not working - they have to roll it up , meaning that I have to put the edge rails on, which is over my head. so this family run operation is looking like the best alternative to me. will post more after my next step This message was modified Jun 13, 2010 by olenska

I bought a hand made mattress using Holland Maid springs from Beds by Design in Michigan. It is inner tufted cotton - nothing to form body impressions. Its great. Had a Tempur and latex
