Hi. I'm quickly searching for a latex mattress in South Florida. I've seen a pricey Nature's Rest, a Sealy Embody and a Pure Latex Bliss. I'm a big guy, 6'1" and about 225. My wife is about 5'7" and roughly 116. We both have allergies. I have 2 long-herniated discs and constant, low-level mid-back pain. I can't sort through all the info. Do we want Dunlop or Talalay? All natural or blend? What brand? I've also seen http://www.mattresslab.com/ that a chiropractor friend recommended. I don't want to order online because I want to try the mattress out. I'd also like to keep to a max $2500. But to be honest, this is really stretching the limits of what I can spend. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Phoenix, Thanks for all the great information and taking the time to share it. I now have a format to use while researching this and it is greatly appreciated. I, like your namesake, will try to rise from the ashes of confusion and find a good night's sleep. I wish I could reciprocate with help. Please know instead that this is very kind from a complete stranger on a forum. All the best, Sir Snores Alot (atleast my wife says so) Oh, and we're Boca / Delray. But So. Florida is one giant city anyway. This message was modified Jan 11, 2011 by SirSnoresAlot

Since you're a little further north, there's one more local manufacturer that makes custom latex mattresses that would be well worth checking out. http://schraderbeds.com/contact/ and these guys are a retailer that carries Restonic ... although phoning the Restonic factory would probably give you others. Good luck Phoenix |
Thanks again. I'll be looking and testing in the next few days. I'll stop back to post my findings. Thanks again for all the help. It's much appreciated. |
