The Pure Comfort topper at Costco is both in-store and online.  Sorry if I confused the issue by using NovaForm - don't know why I added thatblush.

Hi

It would be best if I could buy it in-store but if there's a really good one on-line I'll try it.  I'm 125 lbs so would you take that into consideration regarding density and thickness?

Thanks

If you have a Costco locally, the Pure Comfort NovaForm memory foam is very good.  It is rated 4 lb with an IFD of 14.  I weigh 100-105 lb and it works for me now that it has softened just a tad.  My husband, at 175 lb, found it comfortable right out of the box and still finds it suitable (it is 8 months old).  I think if it softens too much more, he will need a new one, but it may have softened as much as it is going to.  And you...

Costco Pure Comfort Nutratemp topper - sandman

DianeK, or anyone else, have you tried the Nutratemp topper from Costco?  I am not sure of the density, but I think it might not be very high.  3" pretty thick as well.

I have a 2" piece of old memory foam that I got at Costco (Novaform?), and that seems like it was the best combination of firmness and temperature that I have had.  Unfortanately it is wrong size.   I am going to try that anyway with the 1" of mem-cool I have to see how 3" works for me.  It actually feels pretty good just laying on it.

I am not totally satisfied with the ones I have from Overstock.  Mem-cool does seems almost too soft, Sensus gets too hot.

Thanks Diane,

Sleep Innovations NovaForm Pure Comfort Grand at Costco - barlowc
Dec 5, 2010 5:37 AM
In another thread I posted about my three year old Serta mattress that is shot. Given the feedback that I received and the research that I've done since, I have determined that it is indeed shot and that I need to buy a new mattress. Given the (bad) luck I've had with traditional innerspring mattresses, I won't buy another.

Does anyknow know about the Sleep Innovations NovaForm Pure Comfort Deluxe at Costco? (I searched and didn't really find much in this forum.)

Right now I can get a queen-size mattress for only $583. That includes tax and delivery. And according to the manufacturer (Sleep Innovations) I can put the mattress on our existing box-spring.

I've studied/analyzed the reviews on the Costco web site very carefully and they are generally very, very good. Looking at the Pure Comfort, Pure Comfort Deluxe, and...

I don't know if you are still looking I have to say every thing I have read from third party reviews about the NovaForm has been good.  As a matter of fact I saw a thread on Overstock.com where the person was asking about a foam bed on overstock and everyone started talking about Novaform.  I will tell you this.  Sleep Innovations sells the same mattress under a different name on Amazon for at least 1/3rd off the Costco Price and I have a very good friend who purchased it there and loves his bed.

I don't know about durability but my friend had his bed for at least two years and still loves it.  I hope this helps.

Tempurpedic - Is it a good price - Moya

Hello all,

I am new to the memory foam mattress and I am also new to this forum.  My current mattress is Koran mattress.  It was a gift from my mom, and it is suppose to be very firm mattress.  It is kind of hard in the beginning and it is guaranteed to last 15 years.  However I notice that the center of the mattress to form a concave down shape after 8 years of usage.  Is it normal?  I thought it has a 20 years of usable life.

Any how, I start look for a softer mattress and come accross Ara 13", NovaForm, and Tempurpedic mattress. For King size with foundation, I have these options

Ara 13" : 1,699.99 + tax = 1848.74 (ara foundation)

Novaform Pure Comfort :799.99 + tax + 200 + tax (foundation) ~ 1100

Tempurpedic...

Temp in room is around 67-70, so that should be fine for any foam mattress.

Reason I didn't go with the Tempurpedic is the ones we tried "Cloud" and Cloud xxx felt Ok, but there is no way in the world I am willing to take even a $2500 risk on a mattress after years and years of buying "superior" quality such as S&F latex, yada, yada, and getting pure crap. If I put down $2500 for a Tempurpedic, and we decide we don't like, or its not comfortable, etc. then what are we to do? I take ANY store or manufacturer "guarantee" with a grain of salt as they will do whatever they can to back out of any "comfort guarantee".

Plus, I...

What is the indoor temperature in the room?  Can get a cheapo wall thermometer for $2.  Where are you from btw?

Recommended sleeping temperature is roughly 65 to 70 F for most people.  My room temp has started dropping just under 70F, and my Cloud is not any harder at that temp.

We've got the digital thermostat set to 65 F through the night.  Hasn't kicked on yet, but we don't plan on letting room temp drop to 60 F.

btw, $5,000 for a TP king is an Allura set, but that is awfully high end.  I'm fine on my 'lowly' Cloud.

Took me 5 months to finally roll with the leader, but finally did, and glad for that.

Hi everyone!
I've been sleeping on a 20 year old sagging mattress. The lower back pain is debilitating. I am dumb for not realizing what I was doing so long. I have had tmjd for 13 years, severe head, neck, tmj, temple, jaw pain due to orthodontics. But my back was fine till the mattress got worse. So I would like to buy one of the 3 below, preferably one of the 1st two because their on sale. I use a tempurpedic pillow which I can't live without, but can't afford that brand in mattress. I am seeking a medium firmness, not too soft not too hard. I would be using the mattress with slats, not using a box spring. Any help appreciated, I chose 3 from Costco below, please tell me why one is better for support and pain issues over another. Thank you!
