Really Awesome !! Also, the Simmons Beautyrest Aikenton Firm is a great bed from a top five manufacturer, for under $750 for the queen set! It’s got a firm feel, with firm padding and a firm coil system. The Aikenton Firm is great for back and stomach sleepers, and for those who are easily disturbed while sleeping. The individually pocketed coils conform independently to the curves in your body, offering contouring support, as well as localizing motion. This mattress is foam encased, so you can sleep on the edge of the bed without feeling like you’re falling off; foam encasement makes the mattress feel 30% larger. The Aikenton has a ten year full replacement warranty.
Spoken like a true salesperson. Good job at trying to fly under the radar. Einstein.

spring mattresses are going to sag.. If that is really a concern latex gives the support feel of spring but will tend to outlast springs....

I personally feel that firm mattresses are good for my lower back pain.
Did you look into the Ameria Firm or Luxury Firm?
No, I actually just bought a Simmons from a local place that just had its grand opening and was offering specials that compared well to other shops in the area. (Of course after I bought it, I saw a post on this site about how crappy Simmons coils are. Here's hoping I won't wear them out too soon.)
I remembered what everybody here said about buying a firm mattress and adding a topper if necessary. The manager had been selling mattresses for years and seemed knowledgeable; I told him I wanted a firm innerspring with the least amount of foam crap stuffed into it. So he showed me one,...
Kingsdown Moritz vs. Simmons beauty rest forest hill - K8te

As many probably know, the brick is having 50% of matress sale tomorrow. Our matresses is well past retirement age and giving me a lot of pain. I usually research a lot more on big purchases but want to jump on the sale. Any thoughts on the kingsdown Moritz versus Simmons foresthill ...price for a king is pretty close as sleep country says they are matching "comparable" products, even though the Moritz is a lot cheaper at its ticket price. Please help with any advice on these products! I also really like the beautyrest imperial (sleep country) but it is well outside our budget! Thanks in advance (oh I'm in Canada)...

Hi,
I've a weak back and have had history of back problems. So I need a good firm mattress... not extra firm, for sleep. I've a Simmons ComforPedic LOFT Millridge Firm (memory foam + latex combined) King size mattress which I love, its just perfect. Memory foam mattress tends to sink in a little to much (if you need a good one, then you end up spending $4000+) and has no firm edging (what I mean you cant sit at the edge comfortably before lying down). In my Simmons, they've a latex edging which makes the mattress perfect. I think Tempurpedic should adopt this technology!
Anyways, I'm writing here to see if anybody can advise me as to what to do while travelling. I don't expect guests to have firm mattress to cater to my needs. My back gets sore... so I've been traveling less of...
Mattress too soft? Should I try another? - jstluise

Some background: Our IKEA mattress was getting old (12 yr) and worn out. While I seemed to sleep fine, my gf wasn't too happy with it. I agreed a new Mattress would be a good idea, but I dreaded searching for the right one. We went into SleepCountry (popular here in the northwest) and ended up going home the same day with a Simmons Beautyrest Truenergy (specifically the Bryanna Plush Eurotop). We narrowed it down to that one and another Truenergy that was slightly firmer (which I liked better, but the gf did not), but ended up choosing the softer one.
As soon as we got it delivered, it felt a lot softer than it did in the store, so I was skeptical...too soft. The first night sleep was horrible; I was tossing and turning all night because I couldn't get comfortable (we are both back/side sleepers). It...

Hey guys, I am new to the forum and just bought a simmons comforpedic enchanted star loft a few days ago, does anyone here have the same brand and do you know if it gets softer over time? I paid $997 for it but looking at the higher comforpedic models such as the silver moon model, is it THAT much of a difference? I kind of feel regret for not getting the more expensive models even though I do find my bed to be comfortable. Anyone in a similar situation?...

Help...we're looking to replace our current bed, and DH couldn't stand the feel of the latex or viscous foam beds. We tried this one in the store, and I admit it was extremely comfortable and seems like a good compromise. Got a really great price on it, too. But I can't find any reviews on how it holds up long-term (recognizing that its a new model). I know Simmons has a bad track record, but the bed was really comfy and felt perfect for us. Can anyone offer insight on this model? Thanks in advance......
