Are you a side sleeper? YES (the correct pillow height for my neck and shoulder also was necessary fro me)
What is the ild of your soft topper? Brylane Homes said it was 24 ILD but I feel it is softer which is what I wanted. If I was taller and therefore heavier, 2" of a soft latex topper would have been better for me but I needed only 1" to sink in enough to feel the firmness underneath but still get some cushion for my pressure points.
Is there a difference in feeling of naturall Talalay latex and blended one? I could never handle manmade latex (tried a pillow and had to give it away due to my allergies and it was much too firm) so I...

The FloBed's top layer was so soft and cushiony and I loved it but due to being so petite, I did not sink in enough to feel the firmness underneath that I need to feel. I love very firm beds and all my beds were without any toppers or pillow tops before buying a FloBed latex kit.
Dave sent me several other toppers to try out but the Dunlap Topper was too firm for me since I had been sleeping on the carpetted floor over a 1" latex topper from overstock and I realized I truly loved having a little bit of cushion. The 1.5" Talalay latex topper without the convolutions was also too soft. My overstock latex topper was too small and falling apart. Hence, I thought for the cheap price the Queen size was selling for, I would just buy it and tell...

You really should call Flobeds and talk with them about your situation. You can get all the info you need in just a few minutes and there is no obligation to buy.
Many of the questions you are asking are impossible to answer. Only you can know whether you need this or that later, all anyone else can do is guess.
There is no certifiable research that shows that Natural Talalay is better than synthetic talalay to my knowledge, especially when comparing LI's talatech to natural talalay. I agree with Budgy, if the synthetic is a lot cheaper and if money is an issue you may want to go with that, that would be my preference. But then again I have not really tried or...

You have had Talatech. You had a Flobeds before, that is Talatech, I thought you had blended latex. What latex do you have over your Dunlop now? Isn't that from Latex International? Or is it Radium, or ?
Personally, my opinion, is polyester filled pillows are dust magnets. I like talalay latex pillows. They have them in firm, and high profile, low profile, soft, etc. I have every variety.
I have natural latex layers from LI. I just wanted natural, it is a personal preference. Time will tell how long it lasts.
I would never have memory foam again, yuck.
Everyone is different, everyone.

1. assuming it is flobeds all natural talalay bed, would the top layer(Is it crate shaped?) flobeds uses reduce bounce?
2. Question: Is bounce=pushback?
3. Is pushback from Talalay different then that from dunlop? (I have never seen talalay latex)
4. How thick a layer of memory foam should one use to reduce bounce?
Thanks Jim.

Reading the essentia website and came across this. there is more info on the link above, but here is the part that concerned me
1) Talalay Process
The Talalay process of making latex results in a softer feeling foam. Synthetics are always added to achieve this. 100% Natural Talalay does not exist and most Talalay on today’s market is heavily blended, if not 100% synthetic
this is not the first time I've read something about "natural latex" not being all that natural...but people who think they're buying 100% Natural Talalay are paying a premium price for what they think is a natural based product made w/no chemicals...Flobeds and SleepEz (and probably others) claim they sell "100% natural talalay"...what can we believe?
Any comments or insights from the more knowledgeable folks on here? (preferably people not working for or affliated in any way...
