Are you going to start a new thread about EVERY mattress that you become interested in?  The ONLY way to find out if a mattress is suitable for YOU is to sleep on it . . the experience of others is irrelevant....

Shortly before Christmas Costco had a 100% latex bed for sale.  They sold out pretty quickly, and i didn't get one, but several people on this board did and they have been enthusiastically endorsed by everybody.  Supposedly Costco is going to have them back in stock in a few weeks, you might want to wait and check for it.  The label is Sleep Science.  The prices were fantastic, and the return guarantee was pretty good too.

I'm thinking of getting one for my daughter when they're back in stock....

that is sort of a bizarre label.  although I guess I have some law labels that say "Intended to be used without a foundation, OR with matching foundations".

Really any solid level surface will be perfectly fine for this mattress, or a nice strong slat system.

great catch, we need to call sleep science    800 723  0316

i gotta take wife to airport, can someone call please...

AND if you have a low back pain due to herniated disc, and have been using this CELESTE mattress set for some time, let me know if it helped your low back pain?

Do you get good restful sleep without tossing and turning all night (tossing and turning only due to mattress set being uncomfortable not due to low back pain) ?

I wake up feeling like been in hell on my Sealy Posterpedic plush mattress.

I did try the Celeste for a while.  It did seem like a high quality mattress.  The 5 lb. memory on top seemed fairly supportive, unlike some other memory foams (felt similiar to TP).  In the end, I returned it because it was too firm for me.  I am not sure exactly why.  I assume the 10" foam base was very firm, so it would not give much.  The 2" of latex might have been pretty firm as well.   I did not want to add a topper, because it was already 14" high.  I had it on a 9" platform/box spring.

I would preferred it designed a little differently for me.  I would use 6-8" of base foam instead.  I would probably add 1-2" of softer latex above the firmer latex.  In the end, that is why customization is important if you are fairly particular.  It did not sleep hot for...

I spent two months researching mattresses, because I have a bad back and Rheumatoid arthritis, so it was extremely important to me to find a bed that I could sleep on. My husband suffers from allergies and asthma to deal with as well. My husband and I had a chance to sleep on a Tempurpedic mattress for a week at an upscale hotel and found it did not give us the comfort that we had expected. It took too long for my body to sink into the mattress and then I couldn't roll over without pain, because the mattress needs time to adjust to your new body position. The mattress felt hard when you'd initially lay on it, and it never seemed comfortable. So we knew we didn't want memory foam. I also had issues with innerspring mattresses just not giving me the support I needed. Though we did test those out as well and...
