What is taboo here is blatant advertising.  Mattress dealers are more than welcome here to offer general advice to help us all navigate that market.  However, including a link to your commercial site is a no-no, which is why administration removed the post.

The idea of zoned air is a very good one, imo. I had a Comfortaire (like Sleep Number) mattress for about 1 1/2 years and hated it due to the way air displaced into the shoulder area (right where I don't need it). It pinched my arm/shoulder so badly, no matter what I did.  I had removed the memory foam 3" topper and the pillowtop zip off cover. I put the zip off cover on top of the air baffles and a 2" latex topper on that.  None of it helped the air displacement problem.

So having it zoned horizontally is a brilliant idea that someone should have thought of before!!

And although I love the feel of my 2" latex topper, I sweat like a fiend on it, and overheat.  With a wool topper on that, I don't sweat, but I still overheat. So I...

I get nightmares if any part of me gets uncovered (exposed to air) during the night.

Yes, good luck Jason; I know the feeling of long sleep deprivation. For over a year I had a Comfortaire (like sleep number) that pinched my arms/shoulders unmercifully (side sleeper) no matter what I did or what expensive toppers I tried. I was, like you, waking up constantly all night long, every night. Finally got rid of it about a month ago and sleeping better (not great, but better) on a regular innerspring beautyrest w/ no pillowtop.  (Still working on the right mattress pad though).

Hi Leo, yes I completely commisserate w/ all the money down the drain.  It is maddening. I also agree about hating the lumpy tops of many mattresses...usually those w/ pillowtops. My previous Comfortaire had a top like that, which I hated and was able to unzip and take off.  (but that was only the beginning of the problems with *that* mattress).

My current new BR has a "plush" top (not really, but it's not a pillowtop), with horizontal stitches in the padding across the top. Padding is minimal maybe 1".  So that type of top doesn't bother me but the bed is too hard!! I really wanted to be able to sleep on it as is (or w/ just a mattress pad (if I could find one w/out bad seams) but so far, no go. So the latex topper is on it and of course, hot and sweaty....

Hey Gunman, regarding your previous comments about the new mattress being tight and softening up.

I just got my current mattress about 2-3 weeks ago. It's a beautyrest shakespeare collection plush globe. (I know, I know, the names don't mean much, but thought it might possibly help you get an idea). It does not have a pillowtop. It says plush but oww, it's not plush. As usual, lying around on it at the store it felt fine but get it home and try to sleep on it, hard as a board. I'm on a latex topper now but that makes me hot so the saga continues..

My point is that previously I had an older BR mattress that also started out hard but eventually became a really great mattress.  That was around 15 years old so it was a good one, it was 2 sided, shiny...

Unfortunately I cannot afford to keep buying expensive wool and latex toppers while I trial-and-error my way to a decent sleeping surface.  That's the problem.  I would like to try a different wool topper than the snugfleece I have, one more like you have which is encased in cotton and stretchy, but I simply cannot afford it.  It's maddening. I never had these sleep comfort problems before!  : (

ETA--Berkely Ergonomics who sell a nice all-natural sleep system, also sell a wool-cotton stretchy mattress cover/topper but it's over $200.  There's a local store that sells this brand and I went and checked out the mattresses..very pricey for what you get, but nice. Basically it's pocketed coils, a 3" latex pad (your choice of firmness), and a wool/cotton stretchy zip-on cover. That's it.  in a one-sided mattress, average price $1500. For $600 more you can get the adjustable slat...

Well, your post is worth a few comments.

Why after this post does it say on your website "Great News I have 2 Comfortaire left in my inventory."

After what you posted here, you call that "great news"? I'd call that really really bad news that you still had any left and I'd be a little embarrassed to sell them much less promote them after what you said.

Your advertising says that they all have massage. Why does the innomax website not mention anything about that .... or are you sorta, kinda, trying to imply that the benefits of the adjustable bed you also want to sell them are the benefits of the mattress itself?

And I hate to break this to you but given what is posted...
