I'd go with the Sleep Science bed from CostCo - one called the "Emma" was getting rave reviews - look for the thread on it. Someone said it was going to be available again soon. It's latex and has 2 sides, one softer, one firmer. Sounds like a great deal. AND you can return it if you don't like it!
If you have not done so yet, look at the Highlighted threads at the top and especially look for that Emma thread, to get some ideas about latex beds.

I agree, I would wait for the 100% latex mattress to come back to Costco. I think Randys called Sleep Science and they said costco would have it in about a month.
Most people seemed to love that mattress, and it's definitely one of the lower priced choices out there.

Jim, I think you may be confusing the Costco models. The Emma is 10" memory foam over PU foam. The reversible latex one is something different. I am not sure it has a name. It is not available right now.

These are exactly the kind of mattresses that my family focuses on carrying because they generally meet peoples expectations when they are sold (higher end, sag resistant). From higher up executives from many other companies in the industry I think we are often dismissed because we are 'pandering to a niche market'. There is definitely some truth to this.....you probably wouldn't believe how skeptical some people are of my claims when most places they go to they are told a thicker pillowtop mattress will easily last 10+ years...and then I tell them the average is 5 years, although it could be anywhere between 3 months and 10 years. There are quite simply a lot of people that probably just don't believe me when I say that. It's a risk I take but my integrity is on the line.
I would venture to say that if major retailers were...

Hi MC,
I had an Englander Nature's Finest All Natural Latex bed. I'm not sure it was the same model as the link you gave, as they all have different names per store to prevent price comparison. I can tell you it was the most uncomfortable bed I ever owned.
Before that one, I'd had an Englander all latex mattress for 17 yrs. It wasn't a pillow top and was flippable. I loved it! I've since read where Englander was bought out or changed ownership. I'm not sure about that, but I am sure the newer Englander was in no way comparable to the old one.
In the store the new one felt great, but once I'd slept on it for a few nights it became a torture device. Way to hard and unforgiving on pressure points. (I'm a side sleeper).
I...

Thanks for all the info. Today, I rotated our Tempurpedic Deluxe and took off a water proof select comfort pad. It has microfiber top with a thin waterproof plastic type feel below that. I learned here that this pad may be making the tempurpedic feel more firm? Worth a shot until I can try the Costco latex to hopefully soften it up. This tempurpedic deluxe has basically 4" of 5.3 memory foam on top.
I realize this costco sleep science latex has a different feel than tempurpedic memory foam, but will it feel softer for my wife since she is a side sleeper and softer for me, but supportive since I am a back sleeper?
Also, while on sleep numbers website, I noticed some pretty good prices in thier outlet on Natura Toppers and comforters. In case anybody is looking here is the link:

I found this forum about a week ago. I wish I would have found it 4 years ago. Whatever bed I replace will be the 3rd bed we have purchased in 4 years!!
Here is my our bed History starting about 4 years ago: (All of these are King)
1. W Hotel Bed and Featherbed combo

http://www.whotelsthestore.com/item.asp?curr_item_id=26&cat_subcat_id=10
We bought this because the wife and I stayed at The W hotel and loved it and was told this was the combo used at their hotels.
(Plus, I found a 40% off coupon!)
The bad news after about 2 years it started sagging and only got worse! The featherbed was nice, but like others on here know, you have to fluff them up almost daily and that wasn't happening. We lived with this for about...
