Thanks. I will patiently wait on the Costco flippable latex from Sleep Science that supposedly will be available again in April *fingers crossed*

Sorry I only looked at the second URL you had, I didn't even notice the first one.  But I did look at the first one just now, they don't even tell you what ILD it is.  I would pass on that one too.

By the way click on the little box above the message posting, it says "link" click that and then copy the URL there.  It makes it easier for us to look at the "hotlink" then.  Thanks.

I just read you have a tempurpedic, how old is it?  Is it causing pain? ...

I've never tried the Costco beds. Randy's has had a TP and Sleep Science Emma, and now he sleeps on the Sleep Science Latex. Hopefullly he can compare the three beds for you.

The mattress protector may indeed be making your TP feel firmer. As mentioned so often in these threads, small things can make a huge difference.

Natalie, I read the link you posted and are they serious?  Taking that thin layer off helps?  I had the Sealey Trueform (just like the Tempurpedic) and I took unzipped the cover and washed it, and I did see all...

If you go to this thread:

http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/forum/new-natural-latex-beds-sale-now-costco/7639-A-1.html

and scroll down, someone posted some pictures of the mattress, and you can also read people's impressions.  The mattress came with a "soft side" and a "firm side" so you can sleep with whichever firmness level you prefer.   It was called the Sleep Science Natural Comfort 10” Latex mattress.   I'm waiting for this to come back to Costco so that I can get one for my daughter.

A 100% latex mattress by Sleep Science is supposed to go on sale at Costco in April.  Late 2009 Costco carried them, many members of this board bought one, and it recieved generally positive, even enthusiastic, reviews.  I would wait for that mattress and order it.

You will definitely have a different sleeping experience than you had with a Tempurpedic.  The tempurpedic is a memory foam, which means that when you lie on it, your body heat softens the foam and you sink into it, it "cradles" you.  When you press your hand into a memory foam and then remove your hand, the memory foam retains the impression of your hand.

Latex is a completely different material.  It is resilient and will give when you press your hand into it.  However, when you remove your hand, the latex springs back to it's original shape.  You will not "sink" into it and it will not create a crater that you have to climb out of when you change sleeping position.

Latex does come in a wide variety of firmness levels, from very soft to very firm.  I have a very firm latex mattress,...

For anyone who has been waiting and waiting, I just got a copy of Costco's Connection magazine. All the latex I saw there is sold with the adjustable bed.

Am tempted.

Thanks so much cynical... says it will be available costco.com only,  April 1st - 30th.

Very, very tempted.devil

Hello guys,

I need to buy a new mattress and I have been reading a lot on this site. Seems that some guys around here tend to like Sleep Science brand of mattresses. From what I read the some say the Celeste is to firm some say it’s too soft and same for the ARA. I wish there was a way to try them out :(

I am not getting good sleeps with my current mattress (came free with my bed so its not a good one and its 8 years old). I weight around 170 lbs. I was wondering what mattress would be most likely right for me. My problem is that I keep turning all night (I sleep on my side), and if I cross my leg over I wakeup with back pain.

I checked the Costco page and...
