Re: NovaForm Pure Comforts Mattress from Costco? - DianeK

I can't speak to the mattress, but we do have the NovaForm memory foam topper on one of our beds.  My husband needed something softer after his surgery so we tried this on our second bed and he loves it.  At first, it was too firm for me (107 lb, husband is 170 lb) but his weight softened it up to the point where I can now sleep on it.  Even though it is 6 months old, however, the slight remnants of off-gassing still affect me (I am rather chemically sensitive).  We're still sitting on the fence about getting another one of these toppers for our too-firm lake cabin bed or getting a latex topper for that one (as you can probably guess I'm leaning towards latex, hubby towards MF).  Given how much the Pure Comfort topper softened in these 6 months, I do wonder about its longevity.

Trying to assemble a mattress - need help - billyjoebob

Hi all-

I've spent quite a bit of time perusing this and some other sites, and am trying to learn as much as I can about foam and latex types.  I purchased a sleep innovations mattress from Costco two months ago (Novaform Pure Comfort Grand) and while it's comfortable, I think I can do better myself.

My biggest complaint is that the Costco mattress has 3" of 4.5lb, 13ild  memory foam over a 9" core. It's ok if I sleep on my back, but if I'm on my side it doesn't have enough "give" and it throws my shoulder and neck out of whack.  There is a competing mattress (also at costco) that has about 6.5" of 5.5 lb memory foamy (a 3" layer over a 3.5 inch layer...each with supposedly different density), but I'm afraid that would be like sleeping in a hole.

My thought is to assemble a mattress with memory...

We flipped the mattress about 3 nights ago. There is quiet the difference between the soft side and firm side. Loving the firm side! My husband and I are both side/back sleepers. I think my husband still prefers the Novaform Pure Comfort but I am in love with this latex mattress! While the firm side is much firmer than the other side I do not find it as firm as our old spring mattress (Sealy Posturepedic Crown Jewel). I can still notice a very faint latex smell but it is not strong at all.  I really like the instant recovery of the latex when compared to the memory foam. I also found that I need a thinner pillow since changing mattresses. Another plus with this mattress, my cat doesn’t seem to like the feel of it. Therefore, more leg room for...

We have spent 4 nights on our new latex mattress. We have gone from an extra firm pillow top spring mattress (10 yrs) to a Novaform Pure Comfort mattress (2 + months) to the latex. This is our first experience with latex so my perspective might be different from others who have slept on the different types of latex in the past.

After the delivery I let the mattress air out for a few hours. When I came into the room I thought one of the delivery men must had farted before they left. It wasn’t repulsive by any means but I really did think someone passed gas. As someone had mentioned before, it does have somewhat of a sweet smell but not in a good way! The smell does not bother me and my husband has...

Re: Has anyone purchased any of the Costco Memory Foam Matresses? - becky

I purchased a NovaForm Pure Comfort mattress from Costco a couple of months ago. There was a smell that lingered for at least the first month. This didn't bother me however it was probably the only thing my husband complained about. My complaint is that it sleeps hot. We use a down comforter and our room is on the colder side (55-60 degrees). I'm about 5'5 125 +/- lbs and I couldn't take the heat. My latex Costco mattress should be here next week. I'm hoping it's a little cooler. I find that although most of the feedback on the Costco site says this mattress is too firm, I find it’s not firm at all. If you take a close look my NovaForm you can still almost make out where the mattress was originally folded in the box. It...

NovaForm Pure Comforts Mattress from Costco? - jiazzi

I am thinking about getting the NovaForm Pure Comforts memory foam mattress from Costco.  Does anyone have this bed?  Is the nutratemp highly effective at being temperature neutral?

I don't have back issues, 130 lbs, and I'm a side and back sleeper.  I do have issues with pillows and can never seem to find the perfect pillow for my neck.

Thanks for any feedback/reviews you can provide about this mattress.
