My SleepEZ 13000 Organic - pryncesslia
May 11, 2010 1:58 PM
We received delivery of our California King SleepEZ 13000 Organic earlier this week. I ordered over the phone from Shawn, and was not really impressed with the customer service I received. Shawn was professional and friendly, but seemed to rush me through the ordering process. He didn't ask me any questions unless I prompted him and seemed hurried. I hung up feeling uncertain about my purchase. That uncertainty continued when a few days later I had not received any sort of email order confirmation or receipt for my purchase. Given I had charged over $2300 to my credit card, I was uncomfortable having no receipt of my purchase. I did however, receive a email notification of shipping from UPS, so at least I knew something was on it's way to me. I called SleepEZ and spoke to Shawn again to request a order confirmation or receipt be emailed to me....

Can you tell me how the SleepEZ differs from the Costco Sleep Science Latex? I have the Costco bed and it is too firm for me. I like to a little more cushiness on top of a bed and I feel like I am sleeping on top of this bed. I'm planning to return it, and am now deciding between the SleepEZ and Flobeds. I like the idea of the convoluted topper and the wool cover on the Flobeds to soften it up a bit - does the SleepEZ have the similar features?

Re: My new Costco Latex bed by Sleep Science - Q119

Sooo, I'm not loving this bed. It's too firm for me. DH loves it. I've tried the cuddlebed topper from Costco, and the 3 inch memory foam from Costco. The cuddlebed isn't enough, and the MF is too much. On the flip side, the foundation has stopped squeaking, so at least that is better. I had made the decision that if I didn't LOVE this bed, I would send it back and get a SleepEZ or Flobed. I'm thinking that is going to be in the works in the next month or so. I'm pretty disappointed.

Do you have this SS thing?

If not, you are not qualified to give unsolicited advice.

Hw do you know I'm qualified to do or not to do?

No, I do not have this SS thing, but I have not said that I do. I have simply said that I have read right here, on this very forum, that others do not seem to be having the same problem you are having with the foundation. This is a forum, where people are free to ask questions, people are free to answers questions and people (you, for instance) are free to ignore those answers...

I am thinking of just getting a piece of particle board to replace the flimsy sign board they use to distribute the weight.. That should resolve the sinking in issue.

Sleep Science selling Flimsy metal foundation in almost all their mattresses? - firstposter

Is Sleep Science sellling Flimsy metal foundation in almost all their mattresses?

That is what I have read from this forum.

do not buy the metal foundation that comes with Sleep Science mattresses.

Some people are misleading about this foundation. If they say it is all good they are misleading you.

If you do not believe this, buy it and see for yourself.

It is just 20 or so interconnected metal rods with big gaping holes and a plastic cover on top of them.

In the Center they have a 3.5 by 4.5 foot big gaping hole with no support....

My husband hates the squeaking sound, but I like it. Reminds me of my bed I shared with my sisters growing up.

I'm glad you found a bed you like. I would never think Cosco would have that.
