Getzjd. You are probably correct. They seem to be the same mattress. It would be interesting to hear what the retailers would say if you called them and asked the same question. I bet that the cheaper one will tell you they are exactly the same and the more expensive one will tell you they are much different. If you decide to call them let us know how it turns out. I am trying to decide between the King Sealy Posturepedic Plus Sedgebrook plus pillow top from Mattress Firm http://www.mattressfirm.com/sealy-posturepedic-plus-sedgebrooke-16-plush-pillow-top-mattress.aspx and the Sealy Posturepedic Plus Barrett Court III from us-mattress.com . http://www.us-mattress.com/sealy-pp-barrett-court-pl-ept.html
From what I can tell, these two sure seem like the same mattress. The only difference I see is that the Sedgebrooke states "Gel Latex coresupport center" and the Barrett states "CoreSuppor tcenter w/ gel memory foam"
What, if any, difference is there? With taxes, it is about a $500 difference in price and US-Mattress.com lets you swap out a mattress free during the 100 days whereas Mattress Firm wants to charge to do this.
Thanks in advance. ...

I bought a queen Blue Lake Sealy memory foam (firm) in 2009. I have not rotated the mattress as I sleep on both sides equally. I bought a new frame last week and found mold between the mattress and box spring. I pulled the zippered cover back and its on the mattress itself. What has become of the rest of the lawsuits, non responsive stores, etc. I bought this from a store that sold and changed the name . They have resumed using the old name, so I'm assuming its back to the original owners, Conlins. I still have this bed in my house. I would like to have ammo when I go talk to them. Thanks!...

Crib mattress - Need help! - StuHarrison82

Hi everyone, we are looking for a crib mattress for when our little one arrives!
We want something made from natural materials as much as possible - the less chances for allergic reaction and issues, and better for the planet :)
From our research so far we discovered you can get ones to flip over and continue to use once they grow into a toddler, That would be perfect so it wouldn't need replacing so soon.
We looked around online and found the Colgate Eco Classica III http://amzn.to/2m2rU1E and the Sealy Soybean Foam-core http://amzn.to/2m6lOtX
Does anyone have any experience with these 2 or any suggestions at all would be welcome!
Looking forward to hearing your advice!

Pillow top too soft | Can i remove the top ? Or is there a topper to make it harder - sambhav

I got Sealy Pillow top from below. In store it was firm but when it came after sleeping for 2 min it sunk in.
Called customer care and complained they replaced it with another one. But problem is still there too soft even though it says firm.
I purchased it like 2 months back and already frustrated. If we 2 person sleeps it sinks in middle.
We are not just 130 pounds each. So said that would like your opinion on what can be done to fix it ?
Remove Pillow Top ? As in Cut it....
Add some sort of topper.
BTW I did try putting plywood/box spring nothing helped.

Thanks,

Hi all,
I understand this material is super subjective, but perhaps some of you with much more knowledge/experience can provide some proposal / insights.
Wallpaper:
Wife and I had been sleeping on a 25 year-old Spring Air which was approximately 18 years old when we "inherited" it from household. We've got some cheapy 1.5" (possibly 2") memory foam thingie on top that appears to be evenly deteriorated. This item is obviously dreadful to sleep but of usage felt like spending $1000s on a new mattress, and I was skeptical it'd make any difference, and it might only irritate me more should I invest $1000s and ended up feeling precisely the same (that's to say, not really well rested and generally having lower back pain every morning that goes off mid-day).
Anyhow, Costco has Novaform memory foam mattresses which I found online had roughly 80 4-star (avg) testimonials, so I chose to bite. Was $499...

Different options for keeping cool - joelin02

I've got a very old 1991 Sealy mattress that seems to have springs in it and gets very hot at night. I am a side sleeper and skin that is directly exposed to the mattress tends to get rashes around 5am. From reading the tag, the material consists of 62% blended batting, 60% garnetted cotton, 40% garnetted polyester, boric acid treated, 27% rubberized coir fibe, 11% polyurethane. I don't know if that helps.
I'm looking at solutions for cooling a mattresses and came across 3 categories of solutions.
1) A solution to blow cool air into the mattress itself such as Bedjet: https://www.amazon.com/BedJet-Biorhythm-Technology-Temperature-Mattress/dp/B01BMCWJ7G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1526965184&sr=8-2&keywords=bedjet&th=1
2) Advanced mattresses that have air spacing to allow easy circulation such as: purple.com/mattresses/purple-mattress/buy
3) Some kind of topper: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/1/1/951535-independent-sleep-convoluted-gel-memory-foam-combination-full-mattress-topper-blue-white.html
What is an easy and simple way to achieve cooling? What is the most effective? What is the cheapest? How do the different options compare?
Thanks in advance!...

The Serta Perfect Sleepers are popular budget under $1,000 Mattresses. My wife and I got ours about a week ago and this mattress felt fantastic from day 1, we love it ! Felt exactly like the same mattress we laid on in the store, there was no breaking in time it felt great from day 1. My wife and I got ours about a week ago to replace a 40 year old Sealy that just was becoming too unbearable to sleep on. We paid about a total of $1,000 for the Mattress, Box Spring, Frame, Mattress cover, Delivery - setup & taking old mattress away. Although this is rated as a Medium Plush mattress I would rate it as 'very firm' compared to our old 40 year old mattress which is a good thing. The Serta Perfect Sleeper has a firmness rating of about a 6 and our old 40...

We just purchased a Sealy I comfort 4000 firm hybrid mattress from Mathis Brothers in Indio California. My husband had them set it up. I was not at home at the time but when I came back home I realized after looking at the mattress that it was much smaller than the adjustable bed frame that we had also bought from Mathis Brothers. It also looks slumped in the middle so we took out the leveler and a measuring tape and found that the Cal King, which is supposed to be standard 72 x 84, actually was 69 by 82. We got the same story from the customer service reps at Mathis Brothers saying Serta has a variable of up to 2 inches on both width and length. My first interaction with Mathis Brothers was that I had to send pictures showing both the mattress and the adjustable frame and...
