First night's report - whew! the latex really smells. I know this will dissipate quickly, it's not necessarily an unpleasant smell, nor is it overpowering, but it has a slightly sweet, rubbery smell.
I had to sleep my first night without the top convoluted latex layer, as Flobeds sent me a convoluted layer that's way bigger than queen size. Even without the topper, the bed was quite comfortable to sleep on. I did wake up with a killer backache, but I am attributing that to the fact that last night I had to upack all 8 pieces from their boxes myself, lug them up the stairs myself, take them...

I would also like to add...(and I haven't had a chance to post my final reviews of my FloBeds purchase as I have been slow at making the changes I needed (and busy at work!) but have been busy tweaking my mattress finally for the past few weeks and will provide that input shortly) ....but there just aren't enough exemplary words that I can say about the service I received from Dave at FloBeds. I have made several exchanges, and without putting him on the hook here , all I will say is that Dave has been more than generous with shipping charges,...

I got tired of springs popping up in my back in very expensive beds and just recently changed to Latex. I got an all natural Talalay latex bed by FloBeds. I highly recommend you take a look at their site. Their VZone lets you customize the support to how you need it for the different parts of the body. I put a firmer layer in my lumbar area to support my lower back pain. So, I feel for your pain and thought you should know that my husband has several herniated discs in his cervical spine with lots of other associated issues and has been going to physical therapy for the past two months to strengthen the area. Well, after about 10 days on his new bed...his physical therapist noticed a huge improvement in him without knowing he was sleeping on a new bed! He feels a lot better since and once he...

FloBeds recommended for me to buy the Posture VZone because I am a side sleeper and the VZone is designed for side sleepers.
However, I do not want to buy that one because I do not like that it has velcro on it. When the velcro wears out, then what am I supposed to do?
Besides that, I don't think I'd ever use that functionality anyhow of rolling the layers across each other and whatnot.
Additionally, I do not like how the latex in the Vzone seems to be divided into sections like that because instinctually it looks to me like it would make it easier for the layers to rip apart over time.
So...what else should I buy from FloBeds?
I do not really understand the differences between the beds listed on their website.
For an example of something that confuses me: their "Natural Latex" model lists a feature of...

I am in email conversations with both Flobeds and SleepEZ. It looks like the cost of the Vzone (alone) is $1000! A queen in the Posture select (6" core + 2" topper) is $2k, the Posture Vzone (6" core + Vzone + 2" topper) is $3k.. looks like i'll be getting that on sale or a DIY..
How much weight do you place on the site recommendations? SleepEZ recommended S/M/F for me (top to bottom) and S/F/XF for my BF - but are their ILD's different than FloBeds who also rec M/F for me and F/XF for BF.?
EDITED: yes the ILD's are off,
flobeds recs M (28) / F (32) for me compared to
SleepEZ M (30-32) / F (38-40)...
am i overthinking ( i guess my...
