The Prodigy mattress is pathetic! I weigh 260 pounds and in 5 weeks my Prodigy Queen turned into mush! In the store and for the first week it was wonderful. My back loved it! I changed sides every 2-3 days to equalize wear but it still turned into mush in 5 weeks. This bed now sleeps like a hammock. If I sit on the edge of the bed it collapses to 1/3 of the normal thickness. How's that for support? Getting out of bed in the morning is a chore. It's like crawling out of a hole! DO NOT BUY THE ICOMFORT PRODIGY IF YOU WEIGH OVER 100-125 POUNDS! My dealer is going to replace it with the Genius (firmest icomfort they make) under the 120 day replacement plan. Serta is being cute and is going to allow me the sale price on the Prodigy and charge me full retail on the Genius, effectively picking my pocket for $225. So much for the the 120 day replacement plan!

Apparently all memory foam mattresses soften with use so it is wise to buy firmer than you think is necessary.

My husband and I bought the revolution on a comfort exchange and can't return this lousy $1999 bed..Contacted Serta and was told they can't help, told me to go to the doctor. This bed still has a smell after a month just stick your nose in this mattress at the store because it will retain the smell. My husband has now had what we thought a cold for three weeks and he never gets sick, never! I wake congested and with a stuffy nose. Our backs hurt our necks hurt and we are looking for ways to firm this thing..I bought a bed firming cover for 140.00 that help very little. I wouldn't recommend this bed to my worst enemy!!!

It was a little more money (maybe a lot more) than I had planned on spending, but having insomnia so often; I decided that it would be worth it If I could get a good night's sleep. Maybe my insomnia was partially caused by my lumpy, uncomfortable bed? I have been able to sleep for 7 hrs, & when I am not sleeping I am able to rest w/o tossing & turning! So glad I made this move!

Pros:

Really does sleep cooler, but do not make the mistake of putting a mattress pad on it, or you defeat the purpose. I found a 100% Cotton jersey fitted sheet (set) @ Target. This will keep the top of the mattress clean. Then I put my regular sheets on top of that. Works great! Just don't drink or spill anything!

Cons:

Nothing that I don't like, just remember it takes a little time for you & your mattress to understand each other!! The first week, I called both the dealer where I bought the mattress & Serta to tell them that I felt like I was sleeping on a slab (Genius) It was just that I was so used to that broken down mattress, that I had to relearn how to sleep w/o pain! It took almost a week, but now I am sleeping pretty!!
