Usually I thoroughly review a product prior to making a purchase. With mattresses I've only had spring Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop. I've had chronic neck problems for the past 20yrs. So buying a mattress by feel seemed to make the most sense. The icomfort Prodigy was by far the most comfortable in the store. I found the other icomforts way to firm/rigid and can understand some of the reviews I've read. I'm 5'6'' 135 my husband is 6'2'' 175. We bought it 2 weeks ago. It's REALLY comfortable so far. No odor, no lumps, absolutely no back or neck pain. Plus for the first time I can sleep on my side as long as I want, not when my hip tells me it's enough! I guess after reading the reviews I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Our only mild concern right now is warmth. We've both been sick recently, but we it seems like it is quite warm in bed. I'm going to change the bedding today and wear lighter clothing and see what happens....

I have had back problems since high school, and am currently dealing with herniated disks, and just being uncomfortable throughout the night with a spring mattress. I knew I needed something that would keep my body in good alignment. I wanted to try a temp. mattress, but sleep very hot, so was reluctant to buy it. I heard about the serta icomfort, and so my husband and I tried it out. Not only do we sleep better, but my back is so much better! I feel like my body has great support, and I sleep so much deeper. I also do not get hot, because of the cooling gel. It does make a difference! I would strongly recommend this product! I love it!

Mine is only 9 months old and now the sides are soft and the middle is hard as a rock. This purchase is one of the worst mistakes I ever made for $1500.

I wouldn't give it even 1 star. When I talked to the store where I bought it they wanted to know if the middle was 3/4 inch higher than the sides. ,You can't see it. It is only when you lie on it.
