Hi All,
I have been reading various reviews on this forum for the past week while we were trying to determine whether to buy the iComfort or Tempurpedic. Yesterday we finally decided to buy the iComfort Revolution Dual Split King w/adjustable base. We went back to the Sleep Country store where we tested both beds to question the sales manager on some items I learnt from this forum. He did confirm that the bed needs a bit of "break-in" and "air out"...for 20-30 minutes per him. He stated that the Sleep Country store's (in Portland, OR) policy was 100% refund if unsatisfied within 100 days w/o any delivery or restocking fee. We also laid on the Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme, Luxe and Rhapsody beds before trying the iComfort Revolution. All beds had the adjustable base. I finally decided on the iComfort since it felt right in between the Cloud Supreme and Luxe in softness which felt just right to me. The remote on the iComfort was also nicer as it had some nice presets. Finally, the iComfort Revolution was $2900 lesser than Cloud Supreme and $4200 cheaper than Cloud Luxe. BTW, we also tried the iComfort Renewal Refined but liked the Revolution better. We will get it delivered next Saturday. I hope it works out for us and will post an update after a few weeks of use.
Date Purchased: 4/2012
Price Paid: $4999

Pros:

- Comfort
- better remote for adjustable base
- competitive price

Cons:

- not much reliability report yet

We bought the icomfort and went through two of them. First one we got too firm and second one sags on one side after only 4 months of use. I'm 6'2 and 250 lbs and my side now has what my wife calls a "valley" I could live with this if we had it for a few years but 4 months is ridiculous. It also hurts my lower back right on my spine. The guy who said he has a hard time getting out of this bed, is right.
