After doing some research I ordered the Saatva Luxury Firm mattress since our 12+ year old mattress was due for replacement. The delivery went smooth and I was sleeping in my mattress approximately 12 days after I ordered it. After a week on the mattress I contacted Saatva and explained how the mattress was too firm for my wife and I. I suspect that the years of sleeping on a too soft and worn pillow top mattress made anything of normal firmness too firm for us. The good people at Saatva recommended a break in period but also sent us a mattress topper to help out with the break in period. They also extended the trial period for 3 months so I could give it some time. After about 30 days, I called again and requested the Luxury Plush model, which is a (3) in the (1-10) firmness scale.

Wow. I received it, the delivery guys were excellent and took away the Luxury Firm. I know I've cost the company some money, but they really do stand up to their trial period and in making the customer happy. My experience with Saatva was excellent. I had to wait for my mattress to be made, but that's understandable. I also had to pay for delivery $99 for the second mattress. But being in the delivery business myself, I know that they are still subsidizing that cost. I'll definitely recommend this mattress to friends and family. Although I think that the Luxury Firm feels much firmer than anything that I have experienced at Hotels. (Perhaps I need to stay at better Hotels!) Thanks, Saatva!

My luxury firm model has developed an impression in the area where we lie. It has become higher on the sides and middle. gives me a back ache. It is very heavy and almost impossible for one person to flip.

You order it online. No middle man. They delivered it right to my door and took away my old mattress. A great company to deal with. It is more expensive than a conventional mattress but well worth the money for a comfortable mattress especially if you often suffer from insomnia like I do.
I sleep much better now. I let a lot of my friends know about the mattress on Facebook and they may be coming your way.
