Regrets

I was very sold on this bed -- reading about how it's made and doing extensive research to compare other manufacturers.

Here's the problem: we were replacing a Westin bed - and it is so heavenly;). But it is more expensive than Saatva, by quite a lot.

So I decided to try to get better value, spend less money.

After a couple of weeks, both sides of the king sized bed had indentations where my husband and I sleep. We are not heavy. He is 200 lb (over 6' tall) and I am 150.

I called the company and described the problem. The representative said that it was normal and would all flatten out given a bit more time.

It is now nearly 4 months later. The indentations are worse. The bed is lumpy.

I spent more than 10 years loving the Westin Heavenly bed. Many days I would think, while getting into bed, "I am so grateful for this bed."

Now I so very much regret buying Saatva instead of Westin bed. I have even had dreams about the regret! Seriously.
The bed is so uncomfortable in comparison.

If you are buying Saatva instead of one from "Crazy Phil's Mattress Liquidators," or some such thing, then yes, this mattress is better.

I'm going to wait just as long as I can stand it -- bite the bullet and dump this thing and buy the Westin bed. Don't know what I was thinking.

My online experience buying our queen luxury firm has been positive from the beginning of my chats getting questions answered that I could have answered for myself had I read their FAQ more thoroughly. Nevermind...they exhibited patience and I committed. Received timely emails assuring the order was being processed and when to expect delivery. Got a call 24 hours advance of delivery and Fernando Senior and Fernando Junior delivered yesterday ontime. They wrapped our old mattress into the plastic bag which they carried to our garage for a small tip. I possess the most keen olfactory sense, so I was prepared for some unpleasant odors, perhaps even offgassing. But I am happy to report there was no odor at all. The mattress is sheathed in a lovely organic covering. The 141/2" mattress is about 3" higher than our old one, so it sits quite high which I like. But this may be something prospective buyers would be wise to measure ahead of ordering.

So now for the finale... how is it for comfort? Unbelievable! It gives in just the right ways for my ol' hips, yet has such firm "bones" offering the support I was seeking. I had been lolling to the middle of the old mattress and waking in sort of a hole that wasn't good for my spine. I love this so far! I shall report more after several months. If you are afraid of buying without trying, don't fret. Saatva will take care of you!!!

We received out mattress about one month ago. We are extremely pleased. It is firm and has taken away my husbands hip pain. I was experiencing shoulder and neck stress, both are much better.

The company followed up with us to make sure we had made the best selection in size and height with us.

Loom and Leaf excelled both in customer service and quality product!
