Wow. I ordered the wrong size foundation and got it adjusted with no hassle in 5 minutes with friendly customer service. Next, when the bed came I realized I had forgotten to order a frame (I'm the customer type they must use in training-"doesn't remember to order frame" etc.). Sent email yesterday. I am very pleased the bed is AMAZING!

Having gone through a short notice back to the USA due to health issues in my family, we were trying like crazy to get settled into our new home while dealing with those health problems, hospital stays and countless doctor's appointments. Life was not going as expected.

So when we needed a new mattress, I knew I wasn't going to spend the ridiculous amount of money I had in the past on a high end mattress that didn't turn out to be all that great after a year or two.

Like others I was very hesitant to buy a mattress online but I knew that even if I layed on a mattress in a showroom for 5 minutes I wouldn't have any real clue about how the mattress would be after a night's sleep. After countless hours and hours of researching everything mattress on line, I threw caution to the wind and decided to place my order.

When I placed my order it was not likely that it would be delivered at the same timeframe my new bedroom furniture was being delivered. But, much to my surprise, I received a call and the mattress was being delivered a week earlier than initially expected!

Unfortunatley, like a lot of things in our life right now, mattress delivery did not go as planned. We had ordered the king size box spring to go with our mattress - which is actually in two pieces. Since the bedroom furniture was being delivered later in the day the delivery men placed the mattress and box springs in the room and not placed on the bed.

Then just as the bedroom furniture was being delivered the delivery man called and told me he thought he had delivered one king size box spring and one Cal king box spring. Sure enough, that is what happened.

I was able to get someone to help me move the box springs out of the room so the bed could be delivered and set up. Thank goodness I had ordered a platform bed so I didn't have to have the box springs. At first I had asked Saatva's wonderful customer service staff to send out correct box springs. Then I changed my mind.

Due to the health issues, we just needed to get the bedroom set up and decided that we would just do without the box springs. We just did not want to have to deal with tearing the bedroom up to have them delivered.

Saatva staff was EXCELLENT and so understanding when I called to tell them I had changed my mind. The box springs were promptly picked up and again, delivery service was wonderful.

I've waited several weeks before writing this review as I wanted to see if the mattress would be as comfortable after a few weeks as it was the first night. Yes, it is! I love this mattress and really like going to bed early to watch television while being super comfortable in my new bed. And like many others, I've had back problems and a back surgery so finding a good mattress is really important.

Like others I'm glad I took a risk on an online mattress company and have been singing the praises of Saatva to everyone whenever I can turn the conversation around to talk about this high end mattress. Thank you, Saatva - you've made a believer and huge fan out of me!

My husband and I have gone through our share of different types of mattresses over the years. We are in our 60's, and my husband started having sciatic nerve problems in his lower back, which pain moves down into the leg and knees. This results in a lot of restless, sleepless nights. So I thought is would be a good idea to buy a new mattress. We went to mattress stores, tried out the foam, the air mattress, the gel and just about gave up until we tried a friends mattress--which was a Saatva. We loved it right off the bat, and we ordered a king size Saatva in the number 8 firmness. We both sleep like babies on this mattress. My husband's sciatic nerve problems are gone. We both wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go. Fantastic mattress, definitely recommended.
