First of all, I thought my 10 yr old spring mattress was great but had back pain every morning when I got up. When I say back pain, I mean cringing with pain just putting my socks and shoes on. I never really put it together that my bed was causing this issue but it was. I got the revolution mattress and the first few nights were a little different. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. In fact, my back started hurting again (just a little, not like before) so I figured it was just me being 37 and getting older. It wasn't until I gave the bed the full 120 day trial that I can now say that I absolutely LOVE IT! I now wake up every morning with NO lower back pain. This bed converted me from a stomach sleeper to a side sleeper. I could never do this before. I'm guessing that most people with bad lower back pain are stomach sleepers right? Well.....you won't be anymore. This bed will do the trick and literally heal your lower back pain. You have to give it 3 months though to allow the bed to re-adjust your muscles and bones that have been out of place from your old crappy mattress.
NOTE: The tempurpedic neck pillow did nothing other than give me a neck ache in the morning. At first I blamed it on the mattress but it was definitely the pillow.

Not sure how to start, BUT, about 2-3 weeks ago we ordered a king sized Luxe and waited. Once it arrived we tore into the boxes, set up the huge soft bed, and I, being an eternal kid, got a nice head start and jumped into the bed hoping to do a great "box spring" styled 'knee-bounce' into the air full of joy. Uh, that doesnt happen with these mattresses. Instead, I jumped into the air, hit the bed... with my knees and sank into seriously amazing comfort. To make matters even more funny, Julee Schinty was sitting in the bed and barely moved as a result of my leap. MEANING the bed is so cool that even though I landed in it with my knees and full weight and momentum, the portion of the bed where she was sitting barely moved. We have enjoyed some pretty nice nights of sleep (never thought I'd say this about a dang BED) but its true. Most mornings one of us has to wake up by 5:30am or earlier while the other (me) gets to sleep. Well in the past, her waking up caused the bed to move just enough to stir me from sleep. NOT ANYMORE!! THANK YOU LUXE-PEDIC.. also, I wont dwell on this for much longer but for the past 3-5 years I've had a strange lower back issue that seemed to be -in my opinion- due to the bed I was sleepin in. NOT ANYMORE!! I can leap out of bed again..well, roll out with pleasure is more like it but instead of a warm up of 5 minutes before I'm feeling ready for the world..now I'm ready immediately - which might not be what the world wanted!!! Nice product, cool price!

Pros:

You can't feel the other persons movement and of course the best part is you sleep better than ever. Delivery was fast and customer service is friendly and helpful. Prices are much cheaper than Tempurpedic and I think this bed actually feels better.

Cons:

Not a single thing in my opinion.

We purchased the iComfort Genius with an adjustable base with high hopes after trying several different mattresses at our local dealer. Unfortunately, the product doesn't quite measure up.

First, be aware that some of the internet reviews that indicate Serta has a problem with the firmness consistency of their iComfort products have some merit. Our Genius was SIGNIFICANTLY firmer than the store model. It was literally a slab on initial delivery. We've walked on it daily but after a month of use it is still uncomfortably firm. Also, the mattress varies noticeably in firmness between the sides (where one usually sleeps) and the middle. This can be especially disconcerting if you move toward the middle of the bed; you feel like you're listing until the foam slowly adjusts.

On initial delivery the bed did have an odor but we never found it bothersome and it dissipated within the first 48 hours of use. I can say the bed is attractive and seems well-made and we do like the adjustable base. However, it's simply not comfortable.

With respect to sleeping, we have not found that the Genius sleeps "hot" and it does a great job of isolating motion so one isn't bothered by the other sleeper. The critical problem is I cannot get through the night without developing intense lower back pain--something that hasn't been a problem for me prior to this mattress. I wake early in the morning with back pain that disappears shortly after I get up out of the bed. Recently we spent several days in our RV which has an adequate innerspring mattress and I had no problem. Upon returning home to the Genius the pain returned. My wife also complains about the firmness. Obviously, mattress preferences are very individual but the Genius doesn't work for me. Thankfully our retailer has a generous return/exchange policy so the Genius is going back. To be honest, I'm leery of exchanging it for another iComfort based on the very mixed reviews and am considering a Tempurpedic Cloud.
