I owned a tempurpedic for 10 years decided to replace it and made the biggest mistake buying the Serta

I have so many complaints I do not know where to start
my whole body goes to sleep
I have horrible allergies as well as my wife
it has a big hump in the middle
I have been sick since I bought it
I finally bought a memory foam for $349 on eBay and its great
do not buy the icomfort revolution

We just bought a new Englander Memory Foam Mattress. I haven’t slept more than a couple of hours without waking up in pain since we began sleeping on it. I wake up in the morning with awful pain in almost every part of my body. My arms go numb from pressure cutting off the circulation while I sleep. This bed felt fine when I laid on it at the store before we purchased it, But it feels like I'm sleeping on concrete after just a few hours. I had No pain or problems sleeping before we bought this bed. We bought this as a Christmas gift for us to give ourselves. My husband isnt having the same problems with the bed, however he weighs about 275lbs. and I weigh 160lbs. so there is a weight issue here that could make a difference. There is a No Return policy on these beds so I am stuck being miserable. I need help if anyone has a solution for my problem. I will Never buy another mattress with a No Return Policy again.

Serta icomfort Genius - Quite Firm

We purchased two Twin XL Genius mattresses with matching bases. One base is the adjustable base. After the first night and two weeks later, I still have back, neck, hip and arm aches. The mattress has softened up a little, but not enough for either my husband or I. We are both side sleepers, but my doctor recommended I use a firm memory foam mattress for back, hip and other issues - thus this is why we tried the icomfort Genius. We are trading both mattresses in for the icomfort Prodigy that is a 6 on Serta's 1-10 comfort scale. Genius ranked a 4.5. If you like a really firm and hard bed, then this mattress might work for you. REGARDING PRICE: Shop around - some sales persons will say that the price is fixed per Serta, but this is NOT true. Serta has a minimum set price for the companies selling that they are not to go below, but no maximum cap. I have found the price to vary over $1000 on the icomfort mattress line, depending upon where you shop. Get several quotes! Hope this review helps someone.

Pros:

No bad odor. Seems good quality. Works good with an adjustable base.

Cons:

Too firm and hard even after the top layer of memory foam has softened up. Way over priced - shop around.Shop around - some sales persons will say that the price is fixed per Serta, but this is NOT true.
