Pranasleep Vinyasa

My wife and I purchased this bed with the sales pitch, "You'll never have to buy another bed again. It cost us $5700. Six months into sleeping on it, we both started to feel back pain. ITs now been 3 years and both of us have visited the doctors office several times with horrible back pain. The bed, despite turning the mattress around, shows signs of sagging. The furniture store set us up with a company to measure the bed to see if we could get a warranty fix/replacement. The bed did not meet requirements. We not sleep in the spare bedroom. If I had know Pranasleep was going to be this bad, I would have opted to sleep on the damn floor or on the couch instead. Absolutely the worst bed we've ever "slept" in.

Purchased the soft Vinyasa in 2008, despite lying on it in the store, was too soft to sleep in and hurt my back, and quickly exchanged it for the firm. Enjoyed the bed very much until about 2012, when I started getting lower back pain. Thought maybe I had arthritis, never thought it was my semi-new mattress. Stopped sleeping in it about a year ago and lower back pain disappeared. Went back to City Mattress, they suggested a solid board underneath rather than a slat foundation, this did not work. Can get 20% off a new mattress if I wanted to spend a fortune for another 4 years.

We've had the Pranasleep Vinyasa for 8 months now. At first, I wasn't too sure about it as my husband and I would both wake up with backaches in the morning, which I had never experienced with another mattress. That lasted for about a month. Since then, it has felt like sleeping on a cloud! I am 7 months pregnant and it's the only mattress I've slept on that doesn't hurt my hips at all. I love the handwork that went into it as well- it is exquisitely made.

My one complaint is the price- it is truly an absurdly high price to pay. I do think it's worth it, but it's still disappointing how much it costs. Hopefully it will last us for a very, very long time.
