Water resistant wool mattress protector

Just noticed these organic wool mattress protectors.  Some have been asking for protection against spills while still being breathable.  These are water resistant (not water proof), and supposedly will not change the feel of the mattress.

They are discontinuing the 1/8" ones, so they are on clearance (they won't hold as well as the thicker ones though).

Thought this might be of interest for some looking for a thin layer of breathable (organic?) washable protection.

I am sure they are not as nice the St. Dormier, which are thicker.

This is (looks like) the same as the Natura Puddle Pad that I totally hated, and returned. It was like sleeping on a board, no give at all.

That's interesting.  How thick was it?  They say it doesn't change the feel, but the proof is in the pudding.  I don't think the 1/8" should change it that much, but it would depend on how tight it fits and does it stretch at all.

I know that my thicker wool filll pad or topper does change the feel.

I read it was 1/8" at one website.  But it was very thin, Budgy told me it was dense too, and it is.  Can't say how this one you show is, but it looks the same.

My polyester plush blanket is the only thing that did not change the feel of the latex, but the heat in the summer was too much.  I bought a beautiful cotton plush blanket and that changes the feel too, it is a bit cooler.  But I am switching back to the polyester blanket as it gives with the latex and doesn't cause the hip pain.

I haven't tried their puddle pads/protectors, but I have several other items from this company and they are high quality and very well made.  You can email them and they will send you a list of items that are slightly irregular or on clearance.
