as I thought it would.  Have had it a month.  Is 1", 28ild.  On the bottom side of the latex where my bed had an indent the latex is wearing through half way!  The indent wasn't that big!   fyi

This mattress is only a about three months old!  I don't think the indent was very big.  Just noticable to me since I am hyper diligent about them now. :)  I think I will call them for sure.

Just wondering... is that topper covered in any way or are you sleeping directly on the latex? Uncovered latex is fragile if exposed it to a lot of tugging or friction, but if it's protected by a mattress pad or cover it should last a long time.

it was under a mattress pad and sheet...I am calling sleeplikeabear on Monday.

What was their response? I certainly hope they plan to replace it.

She said she would replace it at a discount.    II didn't pursue it, but I am assuming it would be enough of a discount to cover shipping costs. 

I am doing a return.   I have to cover the shipping to me, and the shipping back to them. .  So I am out $24 (the $12 to me, and $12 to send back).I  think they should cover the shipping to me.  The product was defective. But what can you do.  If a product is defective they should cover all costs.  If it's an exchange, then the customer can cover it. 

She said it was the cut.  Which makes sense, because there was a seam, and the damage was on just one side of the seam, and didn't affect the other side at all.   

I think they should cover the shipping AND replace it at no cost to you.  I would have made an issue of it, and if she refused I would take it up with my credit card company.

I guess this is a reminder to ask about warranty coverage before you buy anything. Sorry you had to be the one to alert the rest of us that Sleep Like A Bear doesn't stand behind their product 100%.

I heard from sleeplikeabear.  They are refunding everything!!!!!!!  Even the return shipping.  I think that is great.  How it should be.  So they do stand behind their product!  Hopefully they get their money back from the manufacturer.  It had to have been the cut, like she said.  I can't imagine it going bad in two weeks.  So, I'm happy :)

That is good to hear.  We need an honest business to sell us Latex International toppers.  It sounds like an easy request, but it is very difficult to find.
