It was excellent for about 6 months months ... but very quickly started to sag, and now it is much softer and uncomfortable.   It went from being fantastic to being very bad within a few months, and it is now about 18 months old.

We can't afford a new mattress.  Has anyone tried removing the attached topper and replacing it?

We need a very firm topper.  Can anyone suggest a model?
