This is probably too late but we bought one over Memorial Day and it was delivered yesterday.  As you can probably tell from my name we live in very warm FLA and after 8 years of a Serta pillow top that was nice but very warm it was time to try something different.  Neither my wife or I are large people (combined we weigh under 300 lbs) but the Serta plush we had was just a bit too soft for us, so we were looking for something more firm.   We looked for months but I thought the TempurPedics were just too much $$, so narrowed it down to the Serta icomfort and a S&F H class bed.  After going twice over the memorial day weekend we ended up choosing the Serta because my wife liked it and I was okay with either.  We didn't go for the version with the head and foot adjustment but my invoice says it is an Insight which is not the top of the line but we liked it and it was in the price range we were after.

After ordering it, I stumbled onto this site and actually had some trepidation after reading all the posts.  But we got the bed yesterday and the initial reviews after one night sleep and a 2hr post run nap are very positive.  It has a much lower profile than our former bed which is actually what we wanted but we weren't quite prepared for being 6 inches lower.  We got used to that quickly as well.  I slept very well both times, and it wasn't any adjustment at all going from a plush to the firmer bed.  Obviously we need to see how this lasts over time, but any of the initial concerns have gone away.   I read some posts about the bed smelling, which isn't the case at all for us.  Again, we're not heavy people but I will pay attention to see if indentations occur down the road but otherwise so far so good.   I do get warm very easily, especially on days when I run long but I did that today and even took a nap with more clothing than I'd normally wear and still felt very cool.  We'll see if that lasts because the next 4 months down here are very very hot so it will be a good test.   I would often wake up sweating with my old bed and have to get up for water and towel off and it would be nice if that didn't happen here.

I've enjoyed the bantering back and forth over the technical aspects but I've learned that with bedding it is all very individual and I place very little trust in claims made in TV or print ads.  I have no expectation about a bed lasting 10-20 years although that would be nice. 

good luck.  If things change to the negative I'll be sure to post back.  Sears gives a 120 day exchange period so we do have that amount of time but hopefully we'll have no need to take them up on that.

Glad to help too! I have now slept on this darn thing for 35 days. (ugh!) I was required to sleep on it for 30 but they aren't able to pick it up until Tuesday. In that time, it did not soften AT ALL.  I believe for $2000 I should absolutely LOVE the mattress or it's not worth it. For that amount of money I should feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. Furthermore, the mattress should feel exactly the one in the showroom. It's not even remotely as comfortable as that one. Believe me, after this ordeal, I even tried to convince them to sell me that exact mattress in the showroom. (It was a no go). I went to a couple different stores and actually tried out every single mattress. I feel like I fell for the ol' bait and switch. I will say that it does sleep fairly cool but it also hasn't been all that hot where I live. This is such a new product so it's a shame that there aren't many other review boards out there. I know I'm not the only to experience this problem. I am really disappointed that this mattress is so awful. I was truly excited when it was delivered but it's been such a hassle. I tell you, I'll be so relieved to be done with it. Tuesday can't come soon enough. :o)

JBLO, I live in Los Angeles, Ca. I got my iComfort Revolution from JCPenney. I only have to pay the $50 shipping charge to get it returned and was told it would be the same if I did an exchange. A 20% charge is outrageous! I think someone is trying to pull one over on you. 

My husband and I just purchased a king size iComfort Revolution as it seemed firm enough to provide the support we needed, but also soft enough to conform to your body.  The bed was delivered yesterday and I could not be happier!!!  Granted, it's only been one night, but I somehow slept 10 straight hours last night (as did my husband)!  I don't know that that's ever happened.  It's like our internal alarm clocks were completely shut off with this bed.  I know others have also been concerned about the smell, but we did not have any problems with this either. I will try to write another update after several weeks, but so far, so good!  By the way, I am 5'7" 140 lbs and my husband is 6'1" 280 lbs...very different body types! 

Hey ASTINIA - Thanks for the info. Yes, I agree...totally outrageous. It seems all the smaller mom 'n pop mattress shops in CA have to charge that to protect themselves financially. But I recently discovered that Sears offers a 30-day trial period without a restocking fee (only the $50-75 shipping charge), just like JCPenny. 

I wonder if they delievered you a Genius instead of a Revolution bed.  I know the Genius is quite a bit firmer than the Revolution.  I had an Insight on order for 3 days last week, but that thing is just too thin for me, has too much give, and appears it won't hold up to my 190 lbs.
 

The Revolution I tried several times at Sears was also very comfortable.  I almost fell asleep in the store on it.  It sounds like you got a defective unit.  So did they take the bed away and give you another yet?
