Does anybody have any feedback and/or experience with The Original Mattress Factory?

There are actually 2 companies that go by that name:  http://www.themattressfactory.com/Home.aspx

and   http://originalmattress.com/

They seem to have similar lines of mattresses and products but I'm not sure how or if they are related.  Maybe an ex-employee or ....?

I have purchased one of each of the latex line from the 2nd company.  We are fairly happy with them although they have a thin layer of poly foam just under the cover but so far the mattresses have held up fine.  They are a good company to buy from and they have coil spring mattresses as well.  Their prices are good.  The first company is where Phoenix purchased his but he's no longer posting here.  He did a lot of research and had them custom build a latex mattress for him.  Last we heard, he was very happy with it.  I wouldn't hesitate to at least look into mattresses at either company.

I recently purchased from OMF (originalmattress.com). I purchased the Orthopedic Ultra Firm to replace an 11 year old cratered mattress. http://www.originalmattress.com/orthopedic/comfort-choices#orthopedic_ultra_firm  I do like it and the lower back pain I was experiencing is going/has gone away. That said, I am planning to add a topper of some sort to it as I do side sleep some and as expected, the ultra firm is firm. Now, it's only 10 days old so I can't tell you how it's going to hold up over the course of a few years :>

In addition to the purchase price + tax, I paid a $38 delivery fee and $10 removal fee for my old set. 

That may be the same one that I looked at last night. Will you let me know how it goes?

I went in to a local store and found out that the other Original Mattress Factory is out of Texas. The salesman was very informative and not at all pushy. My husband and I went into another local store and the salesman was also very informative. Both gave some of the same info, but I learned new things at both stores.

We are leaning towards the Orthopedic Eurotop --- or the latex foam on the Leggett&Platt adjustable base.

If anybody has either model and can offer feedback, I love to read it.
