Need advice on euro slat type foundations

I'm interested on opinion from those using, or past users, of a slat system. Ikea, Flobeds, and others have these systems, and I would like comparisons to the standard flat slat system if possible. I would likely be using this in conjuction with a latex king mattress, yet to be purchased. |

We originally purchased the flat foundation that is sold with the costco latex mattress. I hated the squeaking and it did not have good support. It also felt so "flat" and had none of the give I was used to with a standard mattress and box springs. We ended up buying the better quality foundation at IKEA that has curved slats and is adjustable. It is so much better! I now love my new mattress and don't just like it.
