Can the soft,top layer be moved to the bottom layer, Or is it too soft for base layer?. Wife is stomach sleeper and i am side sleeper.She likes firm,med.,soft. I like soft ,med.,firm. Will i have to split all three cores to satisfy both our needs?. Again tks. b.t.

Yes,  I think you can do that. You can get it to satisfy both your needs.
