latex mattress and electric mattress pad ???

I have a blended Sleepez latex mattress going on two years now and am happy with it. I have an electric blanket but have always preferred electric pads with my regular mattresses in the past.

My question for you folks is, can I use an electric mattress pad with my latex mattress? Do any of you have personal experience in this regard?

Thanks for any advise offered,

Bonnie

I tried it with a latex topper.  It really changed how the topper feels-the electrical pad material is stiff, and therefore the topper lost a lot of its cushioning feel.  I ended up not using the heating pad and went with a heating blanket instead.

I wouldn't use anything electric on the mattress.  Why not use down feathers or any blanket.  You should warm the latex up quickly without anything.
