I have back problems especially with numbing while I sleep,So I bought my select comfort bed back in 2001.After time the foam in the middle and around the edges started to go flat.So I got replacements after a couple of years. Now I am having problems with the chambers staying inflated after the bed was only being 5 years old. Select Comfort stated I would have to ship them the bed, and they would troubleshoot the problem to determine if it was the chambers that were the problem.Or if the pump was the problem.Whether it was the chambers or the pump I would be without a bed till the problem was narrowed down. And the replacement parts would be prorated based on the age of the bed.So between shipping cost and the prorated parts cost it would cost just as much as a brand new Select Comfort.

Pros:

pillowtop makes it comfortable but any bed with a pillowtop would be

Cons:

warranty is prorated, if they really believed in the life of this bed it won't be prorated, problems increase the older the bed gets.

hate this bed!

This is the worst bed ever! There is no right number all the numbers suck, they are either to hard, like sleeping on a floor, or so soft you sink into a big hammock, either way you always wake up with MUCH soreness. I've had this bed for over a year now and I'm dying to get rid of it, but hubby is sick of sending money on mattresses. This bed is just a big gimmick to me, I don't think there is any real science to back up any of there claims.
